Everton will want him to play games, at town he would play more minutes for sure.

I’ve only bothered to check the last 5 games, 3 of which he started, 1 he was a sub and the most recent he wasn’t even at the club.

Everton have most likely recalled him due to them being in a relegation battle they wouldn't recall him if they won't going to use him themselves or send him to a prem team which is unlikely.

Selling players to a relegation rival sounds about right for town. On loan. Even still, doing business like that with a relegation rival is fucking stupidity. is going on? A circus run by clowns.

Absolutely ridiculous business in our position. Edit: and I hope to god that the club see sense and change their mind.

The club refused to pay him what he htought he was worth, so tossed it off ever since. Russsell had half a season and thought he deserved a massive boost, at the start of the season he looked unwell, no actually he was jsut tossing it off. If rotherham are the club send him there get his wages off the bill and move on. i would rather have committed players than tossing it off players.

Ben if you say the club is run by jokers, then don't you think some of the players have seen this and hence jsut slightly tried it on ?

I’m guessing the problem is he was signed as a B team player (on wages that reflected that), broke into the first team and played an important part in a successful season and therefore thought he deserved a salary that aligned with that improved status.

Burnley are keen to sign striker Sam Surridge from Nottingham Forest for their promotion push.
Vincent Kompany is looking for more cover up front and experienced marksman Surridge is now his first choice.
Forest could be willing to deal either on loan or for a decent offer and the Clarets have cash for the right man to fill the vacancy.
If Burnley get their man then Ashley Barnes will move closer to the exit. He had a handful of Championship clubs keen on him.

Ben if you say the club is run by jokers, then don't you think some of the players have seen this and hence jsut slightly tried it on ? The players are very aware of the way the club is run and so are their agents, so I don’t doubt for one second that it’ll be more than Russell leaving. Some will go because they want to, some will go because they are being pushed. Nobody and I mean nobody will convince me that what’s going on at town and how it is run is right. I wouldn’t blame any of them for leaving, just like I don’t blame heff.

In the mean time everyone at the club is unsettled or jumping ship it seems or trying to .

What the club has gone through, is going through right now is madness as it really is not needed and shoudl not be happening.

Someone said they saw a chap who looked like ellis simms yesterday , this could be very true as he was not in the sunderland squad yesterday at all. I saw the same person and trust me he wasn’t Ellis Simms and the Huddersfield Town coach with him did not call him Ellis. I can’t recall his first name but he was no one I’ve recognised in football. However, if he is a new signing, hope he is a complete success with us.

That would be a strange signing by Burnley as they’re 14 points clear of third (and 27 goals). No way is Surridge good enough for the Premier League, so surely they’ll either wait or be looking at better players.

On loan? So we're going to give a relegation rival a leg up & not even get a fee to help raise some funds to bring someone in ourselves? What a bunch of jokers we have running the club.

You do get a loan fee mate. Ok it wont be the millions we spent on Tino for example but if he was to go out on loan, we would get a loan fee. i have seen loan fees be like 500k stuff like that .

When all said and done, this is a huge window for us, possibly the biggest in our history. I am saying that due to what is going on behind the scnes also , so LB/MF have to do whatever it takes to make sure we stay in the league, beg steal borrow - wheel and deal like your harry redknapp on steroids haha. Do whatever is needed to make sure come end of jan we are stronger than we are now.

Rotherham aren't going to give us anything like £500k for less than half a season, it'll probably take them a month to get him match fit. ESR cost us £1m but he was a top young talent from a big 6 club.
