You do get a loan fee mate. Ok it wont be the millions we spent on Tino for example but if he was to go out on loan, we would get a loan fee. i have seen loan fees be like 500k stuff like that . Rotherham aren't going to give us anything like £500k for less than half a season, it'll probably take them a month to get him match fit. ESR cost us £1m but he was a top young talent from a big 6 club. I know what you are saying, but it wouldn't shock me if it was 500k or something like that its often worked out you pay the wages and half of the transfer market vaule in some cases. Russell does not want to play for us due to behind the scenes contract rubbish, therefore getting him out of the door for wages and a fee / either transfer/loan fee is probs the best for everything . |

My point was they ain’t paying nowhere near 500k on a loan fee for lad who’s not playing and out of contact in 6 month when realistically they could probably pay half that and take him permanently if they wanted |

There will be a loan figure involved . In terms of the Knockeart thing. People thinking of the supposed downsides of signing him instead of thinking well done town on getting a player like that. That was my point, i was shocked we are trying to sign him, not well if we do omg he is past it, a past it knockeart could well be better than what we have right now that was the point. |

Just read that Jack Marriot has been released by Peterborough..... would be a useful as a second striker playing off Rhodes if Barnes is not an option we can take. .....
