3 deals done 2 of which are no surprise on here. We can’t announce them all yet as we need complete some deals out first, one out very close, another sounds like it will happen. Loan signings we are still trying to agree with Man City and Chelsea to return these with reduced or no payments or even with a different player coming to replace. Other than the two well known deals I don’t expect anything else announced in this week. Russell has been a total disgrace and the sooner he is out of this club the better, wanted massive pay rise we refused so not been part of the first team since attitude has been awful. Hogg on a bike today so hopefully not too bad. I could live with Ward, Holmes or even Rhodes leaving. But telling Hogg to get on his bike. I'm not having that, joke of a club. |

Rudoni prefers, and feels his best position, is as a box to box central midfielder, a No. 8. He plays as a winger because he was the better option to put out wide because he can cross well. Kasumu, Hogg and Holmes work better through the middle, so Rudoni got shunted wide. Plus we are short of wingers if Thomas is not a starter. Is that why he played as a winger or a 10 at Wimbledon ? His words, not mine. Having said that I think, when you see him link with Camara & Diarra, he does look better in the centre of midfield. Just my opinion. |

Surely outgoings would not matter in this instance, unless they’re not complete? If we’re waiting on outgoings then surely they’re not done and only in principle. If one of those is Knockaert, was it done before he played for Volos today, and will the injury affect this? Or is the withdrawal tactical? Either way, it’s doesn’t make much sense to me (not that it needs to, but any clarity you can offer would be great). Cheers. |

Exactly. If Rudoni was left where he was and Camara came on, it may have been different. Besides, Hogg was ever present in the car crash of the early season, so I think his importance is slightly exaggerated. One thing we don't know,is how fit Camara was? He'd had some non-covid infection, presumably Flu type, and may not have been able to last the 60 minutes required. I would have made the Camara for Hogg substitution, but it could easily have backfired and we could have been overrun in midfield. It's easy to say MF got it wrong in hindsight, but we'll never know. Camara played 90 minutes v Watford after he returned from illness. |

My boss at work is a Bolton fan, Ward going to them is heavily rumoured at their side and their fans seem to think there were talks last week. Could be all rumours - he wondered if that was why their strikers had just started scoring  I said that he'd probably be on £8k a week and he said none of their players would be on that - seemed like they'd be a way off it. So presumably we'd have to subsidise his wages to go there. |

Knockaert not one of the above 3 and although we have showed interest I don’t think it’s got too far.
