Just on my way back from Hull. A sickening way to drop points. I really, really worry that Fotheringham thought sitting back, camping in our own box and allowing Hull to dictate play, was the way forwards today. There was some excellent last ditch defending but ultimately the goal was coming, the last kick or otherwise. Less than Zero attacking threat again.

People are saying that we should not be spending 50+ minutes in the second half and more in the first half letting a team like Hull City (have you seen their goal scoring stats?) lay seige to our goal. Not unreasonable, surely ? Lay siege?? Really? Our keeper had two saves to make all game because we limited them to barely any chances. |

When you're in our position, any point is a point gained. A point gained or 2 thrown away ? Two thrown away Porroh in my humble opinion ! - And while there will be teams the length and breadth of Britain not holding on to leads today it seems to be a perpetual psychological problem for Huddersfield Town Football Club... We couldn’t do it v Luton Town a few weeks ago but today feels like a horrible defeat and a dagger to our heart... of course Hull have every right to play until the very end and fair play to them for fighting until the bitter end - While HTAFC have no devine right to win every match today was truly sickening for me anyway... Football can be such a cruel and disheartening and emotionally draining sport on days like today ! |

Well that was a kick in the bollocks.
On my way back , guess the positives are that with Pearson. back and Hoggy in there, we look so much more stable and solid defensively. Pearson’s return will be massive for us
Lowton looks very useful, and Waghorn playing off Rhodes was shaping up to be interesting, shame it couldn’t go on longer
High with Rudoni In midfield is too weak, Kasumu didn’t have enough time to settle, In the end our lack of ability to pass the ball in midfield cost us
Also Ruffles down the left is a gaping hole that needs to be plugged
We have enough to stay up though , player wise anyway

Alright guys and gals. I've had enough of this shitshow. I'm starting a non sponsered walk to the stadium in 10 minutes. I live about 70 miles away so may take a while, but will post on here when I get near. I have some badly spelt slogans daubed on an old bed sheet, a couple of placards saying shite like "save our club", "Sack the bored" "Fotheringham out" "Broad beans are underrated" etc.
When i get there I will kick in the doors and demand to be heard. They will take on board all I have to say, including transfers, tactics and team selection.
They will let me in won't they?
Ah fuck it, it's raining. Think I'll stay home and let out some piss and wind.
BUT...I will write a sternly worded E-mail in the morning.
Or, i might just have another beer

Absolutely fantastic reply. Well done. You do realise teams can score 3 or 4 goals against eacother in this division? We are not good enough. We attack, we concede 3 or 4. And how on earth do you know that rockwall ? Seriously, name me a match when we've attacked under Mr Fotheringham. Bet you can't. I never said we had attacked? My son is currently in a university exam which started at 5pm. It's part of his final degree so he decided he was going to ignore the football totally so that he wasn't angry before he went into the exam - based on the past few weeks. He's going to be steaming when he comes out of it in just over half an hour and checks the scores! I'm waiting for the angry phone call!

I think that the reason Town fans, in the main, haven't got the pitchfork and burning torches out yet, is because sensible fans have seen the great times along with the very poor in the past. Some of the comments on here are pathetic. Posters calling the manager childish names based on his nationally...... Mocking his accent..... Its like being in junior school. The acid test on MF is very simple. If he keeps us in the championship he has performed a miracle with what he was given to work with. If we get relegated he's failed. 'Fans' sat on keyboards abusing him don't help.

The second half tactics were an absolute disgrace. Fotheringham needs to go, and now. Practically ushering the opposition towards our goal for 45 minutes was an utter recipe for disaster. A child could have seen that.

Just seen the equaliser. Such poor defending. It's not great for the header to come in to start with but whoever the defender was in the middle, Lees or Helik I'm not sure, just runs past the ball. Utter shite and another simple defensive error.
