If Hogg has fallen out with Fotheringham,They should make him Player/Coach and tell him not to pick himself.From Saturdays performance {as quoted on here} He obviously thinks he could do a better job.{Playing crap to get Fothers the sack}

Lost possession 10 times and won the ball on 1 occasion. He's the club captain and supposed leader on the pitch but his performances in the main this season have been shocking. Not sure if his persistent hip problem is the issue or his legs have gone but he's not the same player as last season under Carlos, nowhere near. He gets an easy ride from the fans but he's as culpable as any other player this season for his poor performances. The only occasions I've felt we've controlled the midfield this season was against Cardiff & Millwall, on both occasions we had Camara and Kasumu in there.

Dab Sorry youre absolutely correct. 92.4 is Bradford and Leeds. If you don't have dab then the coverage is pants now. If you don’t have a dab, the coverage is non existent. Sadly true. I would assume most have dab these days. But the whole thing was infuriating by the radio Leeds bosses. But the coverage isn't bad if you have dab.

Now, admittedly, they didn't stare lovingly into each other's eyes for just a moment more than was comfortable but there also didn't appear to be much of a problem between them to me.

Some of our fannying around at the back when in possession was teeth-grindingly awful to watch. It was almost like the players were confused about what they'd been asked to do - play out or go longer.

Any news on Helik? He’s not great at distribution from the back but he’s better than the others.

I dont recall us consistently dominating the midfield last season either.

We were marginally better when he came on against Sheff u but we couldn't have got any worse than in the first half, still lost. Preston we were shocking for 70 minutes of that game, Hogg contributed next to zero, infact his only real contribution was two stupid fouls, one on the edge of the box and another that led to a booking. TBF Rotherham was a 6 out of 10 which is an improvement on his 3/4/5 out of 10 he's been stinking the place out with in the majority of games he's played this season. We've picked up far more points this season when he's not played. You can't have your club captain putting in performances like yesterday, he needs to lead by example, especially when we're in a relegation dog fight.

IF you are going to quote at stats, at least don’t make them up and present them as a stark difference. In reality we do have a better points per game across the season without Hogg, but it’s marginal: 1.1 with (14 games 16 points). 0.8 without (14 games, 11 points). You can hardly draw a conclusion that is purely down to Hogg. Especially when the run of games that Hogg missed were against arguably poorer sides. I.E. we didn’t play either of Norwich, Sheff Utd, Burnley, Watford. Points were taken from Cardiff, Hull, Millwall, a dramatic win at QPR and a thriller at Luton. I don’t recall us bossing the midfield in any of those games though. I don’t think anyone thinks Hogg was particularly great yesterday and criticism isn’t unjust. But you can’t write him off entirely after one performance.

It's not just one performance though, he was shocking in most games at the start of the season and his last two performances in particularly have reverted back to his early season form. I don't recall a single game this season where I've thought that Hogg has got the game by the scruff of the neck and controlled it in midfield? Why should he escape criticism when in around 70% of his appearances this season he's been really poor? High got his own thread yesterday criticising him when Hogg was arguably even worse and he's the club captain.

The view of Radio Leeds, who cares. They are bothered about Bradford and Leeds. We are 3rd in their priorities. Not true. Leeds get more coverage obviously, and radio leeds can be infuriating at times, I.e. the dab issue, but we do get decent coverage. In South Yorkshire, radio Sheffield Barnsley for example don't even get commentary on every game, and the post match stuff is a joint affair. If you live outside West Yorkshire, Radio Leeds is non-existent for 80% of the season for Town supporters.

I don't think there's been any point playing Hogg against average/poor sides for a couple of years now - he doesn't create anything and he's not needed defensively.
Against the better teams I'd want him in as a disruptor and leader. I suppose you could argue we look so poor under MF that every team we play looks like a 'better' team but he just wasn't needed on Saturday.
Saturday's midfield 3 was utterly bizarre, 3 players whose preferred role is just in front of the centre backs.
