Starting to lose my patience with Knockaert and his whining. What did he expect when he signed for us? Maybe a midfield that could pass a ball for starters!

This game is like watching a training session. Half arsed from both sides. Sadly looks like we’re watching two sides set to be relegated

One of my favourite ever town players, but I do hope he retires this year and goes into our coaching set up. I feel the pace of the game is catching up with him a bit. I think there's a season or two in league one left in him yet. Let's hope he doesn't get them with us.

We need Kasumu in the middle, we seem to be devoid of ideas there. camara not covering himself in glory

Need more in the middle Hogg and Camera standing on top of each other and Rudoni is just getting bypassed. Koroma surely on at some point in the second half.

Blackpool and Wigan are two of the worst Championship sides I’ve ever seen and we are struggling to beat them. I genuinely worry where our points are coming from against any semi decent opposition

Sounds like a poor game, but the stats suggest we are marginally the better side. Certainly in terms of attempts at goal.
The pass completion rate is also better than previously, although it sounds like we are still struggling in midfield and launching the ball too often.
That said, Wigan aren't offering much either, so if we can find that little bit of quality - probably from Hungbo or Knockaert - we can still get a much needed win. 🤞

Nowt much has changed.
Ruffels still cannot pass - Josh we are playing in blue - reverse psychology - he might now pass to a town player…
I would swap rudhoni for koroma and Camara for kasuma.

Well 1st of all, we look more organised and purposeful with good showings from Hungbo in particular and Waghorn putting himself about, so we look the more likely team to win it as Wigan look a really poor side. But, too many long aimless balls still and understandably we don’t look confident on the ball - there is also the problem of Pearson and Ruffels being the full backs- neither of which inspire confidence in those positions. If I had to call it I would say 0-0 the most likely outcome but if we could get the 1st goal then I suspect the confidence could come flowing back. Alternatively, we concede a sloppy goal in Wigans only attempt on target and we meekly slide to defeat. Cmon Town, make it the former, pleeeeease

What does Waghorn offer ?? Pedestrian at best, loses possession nearly every time he gets it - he really is awful. Please bring Rhodes on.
Camara is so leisurely and showing precious little effort. A casual stroll throughtout the half. Does he care ? We're in a relegation BATTLE...
Hungbo looks dangerous and our star (only) attacker.
Plenty of effort but Waghorn and Ruffels look like 2nd division players.

Wigan haven't had a shot of any description, so at least we're defending well. Just need more going forward. We have not had enough of that since we won promotion. We didnt even have enough of that when we won promotion

Disappointed with Camara - its looking like MF was actual right to leave him out. he has put a Russel esq performance in that first half, so slow

Lacking game time. Let's hope he doesn't call Pelach Monsieur Chorizo Napper or he'll be out of the picture again.

Hogg needs taking off he offers nothing bar fouling when he fails to control the ball and just passes the ball backwards. He's playing central midfield for gods sake where he should be driving at them but he's past it for me.

Ruffles is just a waste of space,he offers nothing.. our back line look ponderous and nervous, midfield non existent, nothing up top ...

You could replace the word Hogg with Waghorn and central midfield with striker and it make as much, if more sense!

The fact that so many of us have differing opinions on which player is having the worst game of the 11, suggests few are playing well. Our best player seems to be a winger on loan who if playing in an in-form team, would be seen as having a bad game (lots of running, no end product)

Lots of empty seats in that Wigan ground Always has been. Tiny fanbase - insert cliche about it being a rugby town - they couldn't fill their stadium in the Greedy League. That's meant with the greatest respect, I quite like them as a club - and I like Wigan as a town.

Wigan are averaging more of the ball now. For the first time all match. I presume we are dropping off and giving the ball away again.

Knockaert must think he's playing for somebody else if he thinks he's getting a penalty for that.
