What I dont see is Town winning without my arse clenching for part/most of the game?
Thats if we score early, middle or late in the game.
Big pitch plenty of room for our 'melting away' defensive plan??
They lost both new centre halves the other night and it hurts to know we wont be planning a more attacking line up or tactic to take advantage.😔😔😔

I dont think we’ve been overly negative in the last 2 games (second half anyway) Unbelievably i think we went too attacking last night. Knockhaert and Koroma have brought another dimension and i can see us doing alright Saturday. I hope so anyway cause i’m downright miserable today. The 'negative' is this god awful 'tactic/habit' of running away if we lose the ball. We even fail on a single player just closing and delaying or restricting the options of the opponent most of the time. Everybody with a proffesional contract can play given time to do so, hell we can all manage a pass if nobody makes it more difficult. Sadly I watched QPR actually miscontrol the ball 16 times in the game against us, some were huge gobbers and we intercepted it? ONCE.!!!! We do not play close enough to or long enough where the ball is. Watching widemen badly control long balls and still have time to retrieve it and then still have nobody biting or even fronting them up is getting fucking annoying. Watching opposition front men miscontrol the ball backwards and watching the Town midfield running back past them, nobody challenging the poor control is pissing me off to some tune.. Watching us all funnel back and then stand in lines or lumps isnt defending. Front foot defending is required. Im annoyed...🤯 |

Unless Town score the only goal with the very, very, very last kick off the game then it won’t be three points - for as sure as night follows day if it happens any earlier then they sure as hell won’t hold onto it !

It’s hard to move on from last night.
Knockaert and koroma have to start for me. Knockaert has really surprised me. He looks a different class to all the others. Josh. Dumped by pompey due to his lack of confidence- which we have also seen. Total fair play to him, looked bright in both games and that was a quality finish last night.

Might take him a few weeks to get into the habit here of changes in gameplan every five minutes being yelled from the touchline. Carlos used to make major changes 2 or 3 times in a game depending on the changing circumstances of the game or sonetimes to throw the other side, this fella changes things every five minutes and it leads to what we see, week in week out, players in lumps and straight lines. |
