My boss is a die hard fan of San Diego FC and has heard it's Jill Ellis. nooooo The only reason they'd give it to a female coach would be to tie up the documentary series with Netflix and all the commercial opportunities around that. Im not saying a women couldn't do a job,, but thats not why they'd be appointing her. It would be a commercial decision about maximising exposure first and foremost. Agree. Don't think I'd be totally against that TBH. Be interesting at least. |

I know he played for them. I also know that in an interview on Radio Leeds he said he was German rather than American. Also, if Wiki, is right I don't know how he even qualified for the US Wagner was born in Frankfurt, West Germany.[2] His biological father is from Thailand,[3] his mother is German.[4] Before his birth, Wagner's mother married an American.[ If that's right, surely that means he qualified through his stepfather 🤨 Yeah that is a bizarre one. Presume she got made an American citizen? It was a poor example, but I don't see the hatred towards Americans and football over here. How many have been successful over here though, even players 🤔 Dempsey, Donovan and Harkes, all to a point 🤷 Pulisic failed, the ones that Marsch brought to Leeds failed. I presume some must've done ok but I can't think of any other than the ones I've mentioned. Marsch failed as a manager as did the bloke at Swansea (I think it was). |

How many have been successful over here though, even players 🤔 Dempsey, Donovan and Harkes, all to a point 🤷 Pulisic failed, the ones that Marsch brought to Leeds failed. Definitely - But he was an absolute DISASTER as a manager in Scotland at Rangers... One trophy outta TEN that he competed for up in this football backwater - Callum Davidson of St. Johnstone outsmarted him with a 50% higher silverware winning margin with about 0.001% of his budget... Porroh definitely won’t want Stevie Gee as he was known as up here ! |

The new man whoever it may be will presumably be in charge on Monday night at Coventry City away, just happens to be live on Sky Sports with no other notable games taking place & beamed worldwide, perhaps this could have something to do with the timing if as some are saying all is amicable......No doubt Netflix will be there with a film crew also.
