Why all this venom from some people towards a former Town manager? He was a well respected coach in Germany, Felix and Klinsmann said so themselves.
When he started, a few games in we had some excellent wins. Then it fizzled out and eventually he was replaced. That’s it, same as countless other managers / coaches. We all move on.
Those ripping into him now he’s been spotted on TV is just totally unwarranted spiteful shite, get an effing life.

I wonder where he'll pop up next? I was thinking Highland League, but he seems to have friends in relatively high places. Just as long as it’s not at CLACHNACUDDIN ! - And ma favourite Highland League team ain’t exactly setting The Highland Heather on fire this season but I still wouldn’t want him at The Lilywhites !

I think a Scottish Prem team might be daft enough to give him a job, possibly a struggling League 1 side. As someone has already mentioned the money he got from us means he'll be in no rush. There’s a managers vacancy at Hibernian just now (Lee Johnstone sacked)... And if the venom on Rangers forums are any barometer they’ll be another one at Ibrox Stadium very very soon (They’re desperate to get shot of Micheal Beale) - He was there on Sunday - But I guess the three games he played for Celtic might just count against him ! 😉

great photo of a World Cup legend there... alongside Jurgen Klinsmann This caption could quite easily be rab c nesbit or some other comedian standing next to klinsmann. Ive never had such a horrible feeling after a first prezzer amd thought, who interviewed this guy and thought he came across well? And then, bromby confirmed employing DW would be too much for his fragile ego. What a great custodian he was.

I did say that I wouldn’t even want him as the manager of (currently) lowly wee Clachnacuddin FC of The Highland League (ma favourite team up there) ! I think Lossiemouthterrier was of the same opinion about his hometown team as well ! 😉

I feel ashamed to admit it, but I’d prefer his press conferences. At least there was some comedy to add to the tragedy…..

At least we could laugh at the nonsense he came out with.
Whereas with Moore, you can't get more than a minute into his interviews without wanting to slash your wrists.

Surprised he isn't going for an unfair dismissal claim.
Better record than Moore, but he lost his job.....

Get him back here!. In fact, just get a traffic cone to take training and oversea match days. It could not be any worse.

Surprised he isn't going for an unfair dismissal claim. Better record than Moore, but he lost his job..... There are a great number of differences between the two... Im hard pushed to find them but apparently a bloke who applies for a job and gets it after interview is a 'chancer' and one who is contacted to apply and gets the gig isnt. None of the players liked one and he got better results than the 'nice fella'. I guess someone could tell me but is there another manager in a job this season with less wins in as many games??? I might be missing something..

I've deliberately avoided his interviews, but read about his thoughts on the Plymouth game. 'It was a tight game in a mental capacity', apparently.

I might be missing something.. League position is one of the differences, I think. Fothers was never out of the bottom three (?) whilst DM has stayed out of it - so far. One similarity is that both had home games, Fothers v Luton and DM v Middlesbrough, after back-to-back wins for Fothers and DM's win against Blackburn, where a win (or perhaps even a draw) would give us some momentum and hope of better things, but both games were (predictably?) lost (and I know DM was particularly unlucky). Fothers never won again....

Im not sure how many games go by without a win before building and progressing sounds not just daft but laughable in the extreme. Lets hope not.
