There is no manager on the planet that can keep this shite in the championship and works out that its just abit of cash foe Warnocks retirement fund

Blackpool was bad. Wigan was atrocious. That was a different level of shitness to anything I’ve ever seen before.
If it wasn’t for Warnock coming in I’d say we were down already, but there’s a small chance he can work some magic to drag us to safety. He’s got a monumental task on his hands though because these players simply are not up to it. I wouldn’t be at all bothered if they all were binned off in the summer, in most of their cases I’d be absolutely delighted!

You could have put someone in charge of this club with the brief of making the worst decision they could make in every scenario and completely sabotaging the club after the play off final and it wouldn't have gone much different to what it has done.
I appreciate DH doesn't want to be here anymore but you're the fucking chairman, you have a duty whilst still here to put the club's interests first and you have completely gambled with the future of the club with the relentless obsession with doing things on the cheap. A ridiculous state of affairs that has sadly completely ruined any legacy that he should have left behind him.

Let's not kid ourselves that there's probably a very decent cash incentive for Warnock...
That said, the bloke is 74 years old, and he's decided to come and give it a go.
Hopefully some of that spirit will cascade into the squad for Saturday.
They need to be motivated by a 74 year old bloke, who has lived more than 3 lifetimes of most of our squad.
A season like no other, hopefully we're breathing a sigh of relief and still talking to one another on here come early May...

The players are mentally shot. I don't think I have ever seen a town squad so devoid of confidence and that includes the premier league relegation season.
The manager has to make a massive proportion of the blame here. What the fuckinghell was that line up? A CB at right back with a proper right back on the bench?? No striker on the bench?

I really don't know where we go from here. I want to see hope, grasp at something, but I see nothing.
I'm sure Warnock will rattle a few cages, but we are so poor it's not funny. We seem incapable of doing even the basics. Neil has his work cut out, that's for sure.

Does not allow professional players to look like they dont even really want to be playing, other than the extra appearance money.? The bookings were all petulance and half arsed. The lack of care reminds me of the second half of the premier relegation season. If there wasnt appearance money many would have sat in the stand or stayed at home, it looks the same now. |
