Well I didn’t see that coming.
Should have known NW would just have them doing the basics.
Defenders not fucking around like they’re Rio Ferdinand. Passing forward and with some pace on the passes and put the opponent under pressure.
Football is a simple game really.
First Saturday night with a smile on my face for some time. UTT

First time this season I stopped to the end, fantastic performance, had it all, commitment, passion, and mainly playing for a legend of a manager.

a proposal for the site word filter to substitute "Colin" with "God" for the duration of his second coming! It would be fun actually, I keep calling people "cards" in real life thanks to datm.

How 'simple' was that? Fight for each other, fight for the ball, pass into space.

That was brilliant. Flicked a switch. Biggest transformation in a game since we got Wagner in.

And to all those that backed MF constantly and denied the fact he was totally shite, that’s what a proper manager looks like. Happy camp before the game, smiling faces on the touch line even when 1-0 down. The quality is still missing at times but heart and confidence is on its way back

Really enjoyed the match today, hearing the crowd, who were brilliant, just took me back to being a kid and remembering why I love this club. Great effort all round and Huddersfield Town will F*****g rise again!!!

The quality is still missing at times but heart and confidence is on its way back The trouble is all owners want to play like citeh. But when you have average players low on confidence they just get deeper and deeper and ultimately lose the ball It’s ok when you’re playing well and winning games But once you’re not you’ve got to change.

If we are going to score we will have to try something a little different. I’ve got an idea. Try passing the ball towards the oppositions goal and when you pass the ball do it with some fucking pace on it. Just an idea Bump

Great effort all round and Huddersfield Town will F*****g rise again!!! The crowd when Birmingham scored didn't boo, they started chanting NWBA. A win for the whole club (not the board).

If only we'd had Neil 4 games ago, today there was more fight, belief, pace & even skill. If Neil has done nothing else yet, he must have told them they are allowed more than 2 shots at goal per game.
We still have a hell of a fight on our hands but I think we at least have a good chance now. I loved the way Knockaert & Waghorn went charging over to the players when Headley scored his superb goal.
Special mention to Bilo as well, a couple of kicking mistakes but he certainly got his assist right as well as some good saves. I particularly like his calmness, he reminds me a bit of Lossl in that respect.
Everyone that played today put a right shift in, well done lads & well done Neil & Ronnie (talking of Ronnies, today's game reminded me of Oti, I bet he would have loved that performance).

I'm pretty sure the players enjoyed playing that way too..and have shown how better they are going for it rather than farting around passing sideways and backwards.
Yes it's more direct and the purists will be turning up their noses up at us..but that's far more entertaining and so far it's successful too.
Brum weren't as bad as Blackpool, stoke, Wigan, etc so it's a missed opportunity NW wasn't brought in at the world cup break..

Great to see Jeppo roaring in celebration surrounded by the players on the touchline when the goals went in. Proper passion.

My better half, who knows very little about football, said ' well he knows what he's doing then doesn't he, you should have got rid of that other one ages ago'...indeed we should have done my love. actually enjoyed the game, but by god I enjoyed the result even more. T.T.I.D

Te only way I could love Colin more just now, is if we somehow shithouse our way to a 0-0 draw at Turf Moor. No pressure. Come on, aim higher and let's shithouse a victory at Turf Moor. That'll set the cat amongst the pigeons.

I think we may regret not making the change a few games before. I think those games against Wigan, Blackpool and Stoke we are going to rue. At least now if we go down we will go down fighting, which is all you can ask if your team go down from the players and management. The first time all season we actually looked like we knew how to attack. Its very direct, but there were nearly always players in support. 1 game just shows how clueless the board have been with their decision making in hiring and sticking with MF. I am not saying things are rosy again, but just look at the difference and its chalk and cheese.

Brum weren't as bad as Blackpool, stoke, Wigan, etc so it's a missed opportunity NW wasn't brought in at the world cup break.. I know the defence had a couple of moments today, but it was nice to see they didn’t put the supporters through the mill by playing every goal kick out from the back. I might be wrong here, but I think every GK was the traditional punt up the field. I know one swallow doesn’t make a summer and all that, but I got the impression that these lads were up for playing for NW today. I also recognise that Brum had their chances, but with more composure we could have won that game by more than the 1 goal margin. Definitely positive vibes tonight, if they can carry that heart and fight through to the Burnley game, I don’t think you could ask for anything more. Well done Town, you’ve made a lot of Town fans that bit calmer after that performance.

I'm sure all the starting XI have got their rightful plaudits but I wanted to highlight Ruffels. He's had a lot of criticism, and most of it justified, but he did a fantastic job when he came on. Blocks, headers, tackles, clearances, everything. Well done.

Obviously would have loved Warnock a few games ago but that was never going to happen was it? He's said several times he would only be free from mid Feb onwards. He's here now and that's the main thing.

Just back home from a good game at Sutton. Congratulations Town and NW!!!! 2 quick questions: How did Bilokapic get an assist? Why 16 minutes additional time? How were Doncaster and Danny Schofield? Has he got them playing?

Kasumu at wing back had me thinking has Colin gone mad in his time off For me MOM probably his best performance for Town.
