Rare to see two high quality goals from Town in one month, never mind one game I quite liked how Headley stuck his head up and had a look for the square ball, then focused when he realised that ball wasn’t there. 2 fantastic goals, no keeper would have saved either of those.

Well, I fucking enjoyed that.
I've been very critical of Rudoni but I thought he was very good today. The final ball, shot etc still eludes him but he put a serious shift in.

I love to see Town playing on the front foot. Something we haven't seen in years.

Apart from the the hotbed for football support that is the North East, then Warnock’s return dragged in the fans 😁

Just nice to come away with some memorable moments rather than a bland meh fest irrespective of the points. It really did look like Fotheringham had lost the dressing room, suddenly they were pulling in same direction and helping each other out.

I know we’re all a bit giddy after that, but I’m struggling to find a weak link in that performance today. We still had our moments, and also thankful for a small degree of profligacy from Brum, but they kept their heads up and continued to stick to the plan.
Feet back on the ground on Monday, plenty still to work on, but hopefully we’re seeing a sea change, with a Manager who wears his heart firmly on his sleeve. I recall another Mgr whose surname began with W having some of those same traits.
Keep going in this vein Town, and who knows…

Helik made a big difference now he isback Warnock commented on radio l***s that the physios told hem Helik & Ward wouldn't be available, but he said they're sometimes over protective and that he rang Ward who said he'd be fine. Assume that he made the same judgement with Helik. I doubt Buzz would have done that.

In and amongst all the positivity I can't help but feel a pang of sadness, that Warnock is only here for 15 games, and even more sad is that he is part of a dying breed of proper characters who just now how to galvanise a club and it's supporters from the moment they walk through the door. A proper bloke who you can relate to and could just as easily be any other fella you meet down the pub. In my time watching Town, him and Wagner are the only managers I've been interested in hearing speak. What a fucking guy. All true. But not Jackson also?

It was like going back in time today before all the nonsense we hear now about false 9’s, XG, half spaces, inverted wing backs, low blocks, and all that bollocks. It was just a case of playing the ball forward quickly, fighting for every ball and not letting your opposite number beat you. I loved every minute of it. In my opinion we need a manager with charisma who the whole club can get behind. Warnock, Jacko, and Wagner had it in spades and their teams ran through brick walls for them. I’d really like to see us try and get this with a manager next year, but as you say they’re a dying breed.

One of many things I loved about today was leaving a man up when we were defending corners, even when their keeper went up near the end. Even Wagner rarely if ever did that, and Corberan never did as far as I can remember. It's still going to be a massive job keeping us up, but if we do go down we'll go down fighting- and as fans that's all we can ask for. It's a shame Warnock isn't ten years younger and going to be in the job long-term. I'm still undecided about renewing my season card for next year but if NW was certain to be in the dugout I'd have made my mind up already regardless of which division we'll be in.

We'd seen little glimpses here and there of Rudoni's potential, but Buzz was a real buzzkill and seemed to have the younger players scared shitless of fucking up which just made them more likely to fuck up. Today we saw a bit more of what some of these young lads are about, and it was a real breath of fresh air after months of turgid shite. UTT, onwards and upwards!

There’s a second DAB station, you need to tune into that. But I’m not sure if it’s just my car but the reception for it is absolutely shocking. Constantly cuts out and switches back to the FM DAB one.

Still absolutely buzzing. Stood and watched that game with my old man, 29 years after standing at the old Leeds Road when we beat blackpool last game of the season before we moved to our new stadium.
Today was a special day and the result was brilliant. I can't remember the last time I saw every single player in a town side give a performance like that. Proper emotional stuff.
We have a chance now. We have got to back the side every single game like we did today. The fans were brilliant and akin to the Wagner era, only a bit more emotionally charged.
One criticism was the absolute clown sat behind me that was criticising after any mistake. Fucking ruins the experience does that. Wish they would fuck off and sit somewhere else, or st least save it for DATM!

How did the ref not give a penalty for the foul on Rudoni? It couldn't have been more obvious, straight through the back of him

Just home and loved it! Shows you what a quality manager can do. He got the selection and tactics spot on - everyone who started 7 out of 10 or better, with Hungbo, Headley, Camara and Kasumu outstanding. UTT Agreed except hoggy 6

Who cares a much needed win, onwards & upwards - UTT.
