Defensive injuries aside, we've actually now got a squad that's probably best suited to some kind of 4-4-2 since Hungbo, Waghorn and Knockeart came in last month.
I'd love to see Colin go retro style and start with Waghorn off Rhodes up front flanked by Hungbo/Knockeart with Hoggy and one of Rudoni/Kasumu/Camara in CMF.
If Pearson can't go at CB then we need to have a look at Lowton in the middle, because his days as a footballing fullback are well and truly over. Obviously that would leave a hole at RB, but I think High or Kasumu both have the defensive chops to cover that for the rest of the season.

We cannot dive in the penalty box and get a pen, our best only option is keep shooting from 50 yards, before we give the ball away.

Try passing the ball towards the oppositions goal and when you pass the ball do it with some fucking pace on it. Just an idea

Thanks for respecting Deano more than the average Town fan and stepping up when the chips were down. ;-)

Our pet tortoise is faster than 99% of this shower. Aye....but mbenza and diakhaby were lightning. They just couldnt and wouldnt play! If you move the ball quickly you dont always need to have raw pace all over the team. Play forwards and move forwards would be a start!

How will Warnock pick a team on Saturday as he won't really know them or seen them live especially Hudlin, Simpson ect, will he take the advice of the coaching staff already there,is it going to be clean slate and the usuall Scott High starts, and Hoggy shouts alot?

More likely to use players like Hudlin and Simpson against Burnley, different style and will cause some problems

Warnock tries to pick teams, where each player compliments another. Sounds obvs but often not done, players will not be picked jsut because they X. They will be picked for a purpose and not jsut because they should play .
Therefore the plan Warnock has, you will see that hopefully , that the players have opened their ears for once and listened and we will see the plan.
Warnock has been there seen it and done it, time after time. He knows what he wants and knows what players will fit what he wants , in a said game. It is now upto the players, for the first time this season to pen their ears and listen and do as they are asked with the full effort.

Vaclik
Lowton pearson/helik/reg - lees- Headley hogg kasuma
hungbo knockaert koroma
rhodes/waghorn/hudlin/kamberi/simpson/harrett
in truth lees-lowton shouldn't be anywhere near given their recent performances. But we have no options.

I think NW's message will be ..keep it simple... Not one to fill the players heads with too much technical information this might help our struggling players...Thing with Chico, and probably MF is giving players too much info about this position, that position and what to do here, there and anywhere else...A nice and simple game plan, with basic simple instructions for the Brum game, and who knows ? Something like… “there’s the goal, it’s that rectangular thing that’s got loads of stringy stuff wound around it. The objective is to get this little round leather thing inside that fucking rectangle” “also, don’t forget you’re also supposed to make sure the other bastards don’t do the same in our rectangular thing” Showing your age mentioning a little round 'leather' thing.

Not sure if Town have played a team more times than Birmingham City, I remember some great games between the sides but these days it seems to be more of a snore-fest. With Warnock back in the hot seat then at least we know if the players want Sunday off they will have to earn it, lets hope they do........with a scrappy 1-0.

My team for the Brummies. I'm going 4-4-2. GK: Bilo and Vaclik RB: Neil Warnock. Close one between him and Lowton but I feel that Warnock has a better first touch. LB: Maureen Proctor. Unlike Ruffels she has the fitness to get up and down the wing. CB: Helik and Pearson. Their bad legs tied together as in a three-legged race. CB: Terry the Terrier. Has a better turning circle than Will Boyle. LH: Rudoni. I enjoy his headless chicken style of play. CM: Camara. Like everyone else, he can't pass the ball ten yards and he loses it in midfield, but he does it elegantly. CM: Hogg. No-one to do the pointing if he doesn't play. RH: Knockaert. It appears that this boy might have played football before. Striker: Jepson. Striker: Frank Worthington. Although he's been dead for 18 months (RIP big man), he would at least manage to get some attempts on goal, which is more than could be said for any of our other strikers. Yes I reckon if Frankie was still around would put in a good shift. Was he cremated or buried. If latter must be turning around and around in his coffin.

If I don't put my glasses on I don't know which of Rhodes/Ward/Waghorn is playing.
Whatever you think of them as signings/ players you've got to admit that it is an absolutely thankless task playing in this team.

Unfortunately I am unable to attend tomorrows game (there is a tale behind this which is Town related but I prefer not to post about at the moment) but I hope we see the start of the Neil miracle.
15 games - we need to win 7 (at least) - tomorrow is a good place to start.
