I think we should have some US style chants to welcome our new owners.

North America basically means USA and Canada. Not too bothered where they from as long as they got some brass to invest in the playing side. I feel I'm entitled to their money being spent.

Perhaps it’s like that story (ok, urban myth) about the American that bought London Bridge?
Maybe they think they’ve bought Sheffield Wed? 😉

If you ignore our entire history, us Americans have never steered Brits in the wrong direction. I love America, some of the nicest, kindest people I've ever met were in Wisconsin. I also feel very at home in Florida, probably from all the time I spent in Scarbados as a kid. Some very good times in New York & Chicago. God bless America & all who invest in us. Same here, always have a great time when I’m over there and find them extremely friendly, yeah can be a bit over the top but it’s better than being boring miserable fuckers like a lot of us English folk.

I spent 2 summers working in Wisconsin, they wouldn't take my money in a couple of bars (maybe I should have got dollars )& the hospitality I had from co-workers was second to none.

Yeah I don’t get the anti American thing, most slagging them off have probably never met an American. Also any American that comes over here most be truly appalled at the level of service they receive in bars/restaurants compared to what they get over there! Hopefully the service and quality refreshments at the stadium might improve!

(Last new state visited was Ohio, as it happens - Cuyahoga Falls)

We finally get some good news and our Baz wants us investigating. What a card this guy is. Not come across the word ‘card’ in this context previously……does it mean the same as ‘prick’ ?
