Surprised at Neil's comments on Ruffels and Koroma Same ….how are we not offering Koroma a new deal? He’s literally our best player right now

Let’s get back to tonight against a team who are just a couple of points off the play offs. Every single player gave 100%. Not always leading to success but gained us avaluable point. Well done

A well earned and deserved point there tonight, nice to see us showing plenty of attacking intent too. Would have been happy enough with a point before ko. Onto Cardiff.

Weirdly the Sky quotes provide a different meaning to what he was saying on Koroma and Ruffels that makes more sense to me: "They all need telling what to do, but that's not rocket science, and they've really responded. People like Josh Ruffels and Josh Koroma had been bombed out before I came. And yet they'll probably get contracts now because of me, they're both doing well. "I don't know how Ruffels is playing like he is, but it's nice to see lads like that give everything. And then the fans go home happy. We've got momentum now, and hopefully we can keep it going.

Got back home approx 30 mins ago, was so pleased that we played in blue & white stripes, makes such a difference, yremendous performance & result, every player put a shift in, just sat having a celebratory glass of red wine, before going to bed - UTT.

No Hogg. Two left backs. I’m intrigued. Having watched whole thing, it’s only reading this post that made me realise that Ruffles played!

An excellent result indeed and heartwarming to read of the positive comments by those at the match or watching online etc...
So now two and a half matchdays before we play again and unfortunately with the behaviour of teams like Burnley (astonishing they’re carry on without yet being crowned champions) - teams like Stoke on the beech letting Wigan gain tonight (probably a lost cause for them but still...) and the like we are very likely to be back in the relegation zone by 30th April and KO @ Cardiff...
We will know of course where we stand and what we need to do to survive by KO that day - of course it’s huge pressure as will our watch and hope n’ pray scenario be as well over the next 11 long days...
At least Norwich, Watford and Luton have something to play for tomorrow night - unfortunately though so do QPR, Cardiff and Reading !

Warnock just dropped that Koroma and Ruffels won't be getting new contracts in his post match press conference (but that they'll get good ones elsewhere!) I'd be disappointed to see Koroma go. He has real quality when he's nurtured properly. Ruffels has been better under Warnock, but he's still a poor player at this level. I'm not sure he'd be that good in League One to be honest. Perhaps that's harsh, but I just don't rate him at all. Ruffels was in League 1 Team of the year for Oxford....

Kompany helping out another relegation rival playing the b team. They still have QPR and Cardiff to play. Assuming they will receive the same friendly gesture! We can't really complain about that can we ?

Ruffels wouldn't be missed but definitely worth taking the extra year option on Koroma which is something I'd never have thought I'd be saying 2 months ago

Surprised at Neil's comments on Ruffels and Koroma Me too. I doubt it will be up to Warnock whether they go or stay. Surely the new manager will have a good look at them both before any decision is made?

I'd be going all out to re-sign Koroma. Even if he only plays like he has done for 15 games next season it will be worth it.

I take that to mean that the club takeover may not be complete by the time their contracts expire or that they will have accepted contracts before then. I can't for the life in me understand why we wouldn't offer Koroma a contract otherwise. Reads like we may not be able to afford him which is very worrying if true.

Great result last night..just a shame we didn't attempt to play with the same conviction at Swansea and we would have probably got something out of the game
Looking like we will be in the bottom 3 again by the time we play again...we can't expect all of the others to keep losing..one or 2 of them will get a win out of the next 2 games..
Sadly we might have left it a bit too late

Alright boys, well done tonight I thought yous were a proper well drilled team, could definitely tell you were a Warnock team. We were poor today and Mowbray did not manage the game well at all, substitutions wrong and initial starting XI wrong for the type of game it would be. Think you lot will easily stay up, but hopefully we won’t see you next season. Realistically think we won’t go up, but Im still holding onto the possibility. Speaking to a couple of your lot after the game, a bald fella and two of his mates and they were proper sound, so nothing but good things to say. Best of luck for the rest of the season anyway 👍 (Also, your No.35 was solid, was really impressed with him)Brahima Diarra. 19 year old French lad. One of 3 French youngsters we brought over before Brexit that I have high hopes for.

Diarra needs to sort his feet out a bit but once that's sorted he will be excellent.
