Expecting those young lads to provide a competitive and creative midfield is a very big ask, they need to go forward with their heads up on our (probably) rare forays into the Mackems half. Still, this being Town, I wouldn't be surprised with a point or three.

Only been in the stadium 5 minutes and the staff have been the most welcoming and helpful I've ever known at an away game.

Maybe 4-5-1 with Headley as a winger and Pearson right back? I suspect it won't matter much as we defend in numbers anyway. Hogg looked to be moving gingerly the other day and REG I think hasn't got the fitness to do a midfield role twice in 4 days. So no big surprise there.
Their fans are fuming on twitter about their selection.

Hogg missing does not suprise me at all, Rhodes back on the bench for the first time in week?

On paper it looks like he is focused on the 3 after this, but he has proved me wrong before.

You mean the obvious Hogg replacement 🙄 He is, but he doesn’t work hard enough. Drifts in games. Agree though, Camara would be the obvious replacement. However , strange selections on Saturday, Diarra at times looked confused. However, warnock knows he can carry the ball. Maybe Ruffels in midfield ? Who knows I’ve given up trying to guess. Bring back 4-4-2 it was much easier. |
