I just seen that they have it on Wikipedia I remembered Beaver but forgot about BLOGGS AND VOI You could have a massive Town badge on the back of the Voi shirt. I had Terrier and the year of my birth on. For some reason they've never allowed Terrier 69 again 🤔

It was the best Greenalls/Greenalls beer shirt in my opinion Considering the abortion that was similar to this seasons home shirt but with the added shiteness of the white bib, that's not hard 😁

Just reading other clubs kit history now.
Nike and Adidas have been with Barca and Real since 1998.
I don’t know but I’d guess the longest running relationship would possibly be adidas and Bayern Munich

Puma and Austria is longest international partnership (Germany and adidas second) pirelli has ended a 26 year association with Inter

He wore Puma but Adidas were paying big money to wear there gear so he'd blacked out the Puma markings and painted 3 stripes on his 😁

Are you sure that Kilmarnock didn't win and Rangers just claimed it ? 😁 Todd Cuntwell said Celtic didn't win last week, Rangers lost 🤔

Did Bradley’s become Barkers? We used to go into town as kids to look at sports shops and have a McDonalds extra value meal (£2.88) The route from memory was packhorse Sugg, packhorse Allsports (both moved on towards Primark later) barkers intersport then pro performance shoes and then finish at o Neil’s sports bus home. McDonald’s used to JJBs if I remember correctly.

A lad I was at school with's dad owned a sports shop in town but I can't remember it's name. It was down King Street on the left hand side, further down than Barkers. I got a couple of Town shirts from there.

The England shirt from the 1986 World Cup, which was subsequently stolen from our washing line one day not long after I got it. Thankfully, after my mum had a word with one of the more dangerous characters on the estate we grew up on, enquiries were made and the shirt was miraculously posted through our letterbox a couple of days later!

It used be common, getting thinks nicked off the line, designer gear anyway. I used to have stuff nicked off the line, had to tell my mum not to hang them out. I had a Adidas t-shirt, similar in design to the Germany 1990 World Cup shirt, that got half inched.

I had to relay the same instructions to my old girl too after losing a couple of pairs of expensive jeans from the line when I got older! Also, that Germany 1990 shirt design is so iconic I think I'd have been seriously pissed off with that. The most pathetic attempt at theft I ever came across though was in a Halifax nightclub back in the late 90s. A lass who was massively out of my league approached me and started giving me the major come-on, being really touchy feely with me. Thankfully, I was still sober enough to realise that this kind of luck always comes with a price, and it took me no time at all to realise she was maneuvering to try and unbutton the Stone Island badge off my new jumper, the sneaky cow. I'm very glad I grew out of the designer clothes thing relatively young, as one of my good mates once took a serious shoeing and had his £600 coat stolen by some opportunist scumbags walking home from town one night. Just not worth it.

A lass I used to work with, in Bradford, was a Sheffield United fan and had some clothes, including a couple of Blades shirts, stolen off the line. A couple of weeks later and she was in Tesco on Halifax Road when some lass walks past in one of the shirts. Cue Sue grabbing her and threatening to call the police unless the lass took her to her house and returned all the gear 🤣

I've only had a shirt since, well let's be honest being old. ( No I'm not overweight with a gut.) I've given up at 70 though and sold my last one, the unsponsored sponsored one on Ebay. I don't really remember seeing anyone apart from maybe young kids wearing shirts back in the mid 60s when I started. Sure you could buy Town shirts if you could afford them, we certainly couldn't, but then kids would generally actually play footie in them, not wear them as a fashion accessory. Scarves were a different matter. Everyone had one, and the simple blue and white bars at that. I don't remember the first shirt I ever bought, but it will have been within the last twenty years.
