At least that goal didn’t matter as far GD concerned as we would have be down with 2 consecutive 1 goal defeats regardless and save with any other result! It could make a difference though, we are 2 goals better off than Reading, if we lose to reading 2-0 then they go above us. That goal would have meant Reading needed to win by 3 clear goals. That one goal seems big to me. Win or draw against Sheff Utd and it won't matter but the way Cardiff defended I feel there was a chance to make it too big a gap. |

You are not wrong but not completely right either. The goal difference being just 2 means that if we lose the next 2 games (even by a single goal), it’s highly likely we would go down. |

In reality this win hasn’t made too much difference - yet.
Lose to Sheff Utd and Reading just need to turn up and win on the final day. Would have been the same had we ended up drawing the game today.
Need to get the job done now against Sheff Utd do not want to go into that final game needing anything

Basically just means a draw in either game is now enough which had we lost today and Thursday a draw v reading would have taken us down. |
