At least that goal didn’t matter as far GD concerned as we would have be down with 2 consecutive 1 goal defeats regardless and save with any other result! It could make a difference though, we are 2 goals better off than Reading, if we lose to reading 2-0 then they go above us. That goal would have meant Reading needed to win by 3 clear goals. That one goal seems big to me. Win or draw against Sheff Utd and it won't matter but the way Cardiff defended I feel there was a chance to make it too big a gap. No. If we lose Thursday we are 1 goal better off. Reading winning by 1 would put them 1 better off. If we hadn't conceded then Reading would have had the same GD but more goals scored. So conceding made no difference. |

Great performance and a deserving Win..
Good team performance no one really had a bad game..many did well...
Only one mistake really at the short corner totally unmarked to cross. I think that was a product of the subs as Kasuma was looking for his man...
Same effort again next time town ..well done!!!

As someone who had us to win, over 4 corners and Pearson to score... how the fuck has that gone down as an OG? Cos it wasn't going in and the defender touched it twice after Pearson did 🤔😁 But his header was on target? Or is it simply the fact it touched the defender twice rather than once? EDIT: may of been going wide  |

Not that long ago I had given up all hope of surviving, it just seemed like we were doomed. What Warnock has done is astonishing and he deserves all the money he gets. If we can get a point on Thursday night then it’s party time on the Monday!

On the fixtures on Sky it does say the game is live on Sky.
It wasn’t a few days ago, presumably because it was an original Sat fixture, but seems like it’s on.
So hopefully those not able to make it can see us secure the point for survival.

We’ll never know, but did it serve Town better to have that game after the results yesterday.
Similar thing on Thurs, no other teams to affect what happens in the Blades game.

In reality this win hasn’t made too much difference - yet. Lose to Sheff Utd and Reading just need to turn up and win on the final day. Would have been the same had we ended up drawing the game today. Need to get the job done now against Sheff Utd do not want to go into that final game needing anything It wouldn’t have been the same with a draw today. We now need one point rather than three against Sheffield to guarantee survival. |
