Good to see Luton in the Prem, I think they'll survive by the skin of their teeth in the first season and drop the next. Not often you get new teams at the top flight they've done great.

5 out of last seasons top 6 will be in the PL next season. The other one was relieved not to be playing in L1. One of them didn't earn their place though...

Well in Luton, back to back great seasons. Hold your heads high Coventry. Both squads will have a large turnover before next season. Gyoerkes is premiership quality.

Gyoerkes is premiership quality. Quiet enough bar the assist, I thought. Time will tell.

Luton definitely shaded the game, probably well deserved in the end.

Think Derbys Premier League record might go next season 🤞🏽 I wouldn't bet on it, Kenilworth Road is a tight tricky ground that they will use to their own advantage. We had some really good players and got promoted out of a high quality division. Not sure any of their current squad are Premier League quality. They’ll need to get recruitment bang on to have any chance.

Well done Luton, on your business model. Spend the money you have on transfers, player wages and little or nothing on your ground. Let the PL know that you will only spend when you get to the PL and you might need to postpone quite a few home games till the modest amount of work needed to bring the ground up to PL standard is complete. I believe circa £10m so not much that needs doing. If we dont stay up we wont be spending any more than the £10m we are saying and will simply pocket the |Parachute Payments and make a nice tidy profit.

Living in Warwickshire I'm surrounded by Coventry fans. Some good, some obnoxious. They all thought they had already won. Well done Hatters.

Still don’t get how they get Michael Oliver for this game and we got fucking John moss. What a joke. I think that the EFL/FA realised that they had made an horrendous mistake in giving a massively important match to a retiring referee as a thank you for past service. The thing is, Moss was retiring for the very good reason that he was no longer able to make correct decisions and keep up with the pace of the game. The question is, if Oliver had been reffing, would we have had another season in the Prem. Sadly we will never know I would suggest that the FA got it exactly right giving it to Moss. It worked perfectly for them. He (and Paul Tierney - who gets off far too lightly IMO) made the correct decisions to ensure the correct result. Yes, I am still bitter.

The only real mistake PH made footballing wise. Not signing Adebayo. Not tinpot's fault, it was the shirt printers who vetoed the signing of Elijah Anuoluwapo Oluwaferanmi Oluwatomi Oluwalana Ayomikulehin Adebayo. Finally someone acknowledges it!

With Hamer still on the pitch I fancied Cov to win it, shocking first half aside they were the ones in the ascendency throughout the rest of the game. Can't argue with Luton going up having finished third in the league though and having put the ball in the net 4 times on the day. Think Robins has done a great job there too, especially with their off the field issues they have had to contend with. Next season won't be easy for them though.
