Didn't realise until there was a feature on breakfast tv that the big playoff was today. I'm assuming there's some logical reason why the lower league playoffs are happening after the championship one? So the pitch has less wear for the showpiece event? Imagine after 3 days the pitch doesn’t hold up as well. I also think it probably has something to do with Prem refs being involved in the game, so they couldn’t have the game on Sunday? So why hasn't it always been like this? I'm sure the championship game has been last of them in other seasons? Going on this the FA Cup final must be practically irrelevant then.

I heard some conversation between a luton director and the host on talksport, and the only real reason seems to be that the pitch will be at its optimum state on the Saturday, as opposed to a Monday when it could have had potentially 4 hours worth of football played on it. And apparently with the amount of money riding on the match, that decision was made prior to the season beginning. This is probably correct. Shame that the amount of money riding on the match last year didn't result in the correct application of VAR for whatever reason. Dates were moved on March 23rd from the traditional Bank Holiday Monday (EFL original date) to Saturday, I remember reading on Boro forum (who we played a few days after) how annoyed many of them were who booked hotels in advance for the previous announced date.......not our problem this year, but still not seen any 'official' reason for the move.

Jon Moss and Paul Tierney watching the final on a luxury yacht sailing between the Greek Islands. Allegedly. Yeh with Ivan Toney who just happened to put 10k on his old team Peterboro crashing out in the 2nd leg........along with the posh defender for pen & keeper for 2nd goal, stopped watching then.

Anybody there when a woman was flashing her tits from one of those houses as we went up the steps? (Possibly the least erotic exposure of all time though).

I can just see it now...
23/24 season playoffs. Luton have miraculously avoided the drop back into the championship. We're 2-0 up in the playoff final...
We've been to Stamford Bridge, the Etihad, Liverpool away ...

Hope Luton go up today they're a well run club and have been there or there abouts for a while. Never really taken to Coventry, also be good to have another smaller club reach the Prem for the first time.

Ah Aye - Kenilworth Road ! - Just a very unusual angle, I think that’ll probably be the terrace where fans go through a HOUSE for entry... Absoloutly unique so it is and goodness knows what the Premier League prawn sandwich bridgade will think of it should Luton Town get promotion later on today - The scoreboard is the only thing that looks outta place in such a relic type old lady of a ground... Talking of which wasn’t that another first for Town by them having the first ever scoreboard in beautiful old Leeds Road in The 50’s ! 😊

(Possibly the least erotic exposure of all time though). Given the dated old ground - some fans might say from the era of dinasours - and this lady offering her delights... Some Town fans might have deduced that it was a chance of... TRYANNIESOREUS-SEX ! 😉

I wondered why it was the lg1 final on Monday..
But then I realised they’ve needed extra time to rebuild Wembley..
To accommodate the 250k Wednesday supporters..

Since the mid-2000s the Championship game has generally been the first game of the weekend in seasons when there was a Euros / World Cup that summer. Looks like it was decided in 2021 for this to be the case every year (2022 schedule was moved around as Wembley was unavailable on the Monday). 2022 = Sun 2021 = Sat 2020 = Tue (COVID) 2019 = Mon2018 = Sat 2017 = Mon2016 = Sat 2015 = Mon2014 = Sat 2013 = Mon2012 = Sat

At the top, a window opened and a bloke was there with his cock out. ‘I’m Cess’ he said.

I can't remember it but I can vaguely remember reading about it. Sure someone on here will know.
