Anyone know what happened to all the 'welcome to Huddersfield/premier team, premier town' signs that were about on your way into town a couple of years back ?
If I could work out how to post a picture up of one I would!
They were soon taken down when we were relegated from the prem. Has anyone got one they wish to part with?
Saw one on Facebook marketplace a year or so back but it was sold by the time I'd spotted it

As much as getting to the PL was excellent. I personally found them signs cringeworthy. For fans and memorabilia though, not bad if you could get one! Hope you find one. Cringeworthy? I was proud of them , like I was proud of my team when we got to the Premier League. It’s was a great sport putting pics of them on chats with Leeds fans. They went spare. One lad even left our chat! But, I knew there would be payback. Nevertheless, live for the moment, it was all a bit of pride and fun. |

The signs were great. The small banners on the lamp posts down Leeds Rd. The coverings on the big advertisement boards down Cooper Bridge. The Sky TV poster advert with Kachunga.
It’s like people want us to be a shitty, small club.

The signs were great. The small banners on the lamp posts down Leeds Rd. The coverings on the big advertisement boards down Cooper Bridge. The Sky TV poster advert with Kachunga. It’s like people want us to be a shitty, small club. I loved all the razzmatazz stuff. I even loved the shitty dog emblem and all that Chinese stuff, especially that mad stuff around Chinese New Year when no one had a clue what was been advertised. |
