... and a Leeds fan! As some of you may know, or guessed, I used to work at Town (retired now) for the last 13 years or so. Stuart Webber was a good DoF, howwever I found him slightly arrogant as a person (maybe you have to in the role?). Some of my colleagues thought he was great but I always kept him at arms length socially. Btw, he was very lucky in finding David Wagner; he was persuing a player and the player's agent was DW's agent and suggested SW look at DW as head coach. So SW didn't find DW. |

Probably how most managers and players are spotted , on the recommendation of others, it’s often how good their networks are that really matter. |

He seems to know his stuff and is highly driven, but definitely a nob. I've said before that I think he's decent enough but that he's not the messiah he/some think. A lot of the signings we made in the first summer seemed to come from wagners notebook |
