I would genuinely like a carbon copy of the home strip but red and black. 3rd kit is the one to try new things such as that awful pink one from last year. The peppermint one from play off season was nice. Agree. Red and Black stripes definitely the best away kit. Red and Black stripes or the electric Gola style have always been my favourite away design. Anything not full yellow is a good starting point, always looks too much like L***s for my liking. |

Can’t quite get it on this iPad Lovechops (it is quite old though) but it looks ok and I’ll probably get it along with another couple of Hundred quids worth of Polo’s and T-shirts and strips and (Don’t Laugh 😊 😊 ! ) Training tops - For a 21 stone torso ! 😬 |

Each to their own I guess  Full disclosure - I own an original Gola electric Hoops (from when I was a lot younger) and a generic official blue & white striped shirt with no sponsor that was £15 in April 2022 (I think) Who says it’s men getting excited🤷🏻♀️ |

Don’t know if this was mentioned yet, but it’s a shame only our training kits have an Eye Doctor sponsorship; could’ve really done with raising awareness for referee’s and linesmen who are tragically all visually impaired.

Women I’ve known in my life have worn Town shirts and they’ve just added an extra dimension to them. The glorious blue and white stripes on an already attractive lady is a big 😍 |

Got a phone call from Luke at the clubshop at lunchtime - Town have discovered Umbro are selling them at a lower price than we are, so they've retrospectively price matched it and he was ringing to explain why I'd see a partial refund on my card. The team there are superb. |

The team there are superb. Wow. Now THAT'S customer service. Unlike Fakebook who banned me, despite never posting anything and only ever searching for people. Emailed customer services to get it back up nearly a year ago, with follow-up emails. Still not heard owt. |

Ours was £38, the Umbro one was £15. They'd sent it to Town to find out why ironing on a Town badge added £23. |

However the two I was seeing from Dumbarton used to cut around in Celtic tops - one was ‘large’ in the chest area which fair showed in The Hoops ! One from Renfrew cut about in various Rangers strips as well as did another from The West Island... My last few conquests have been up here at parties in The family home at Connel where I can’t get up to what I want to but the next one in the West Island will have 60 West Yorkshire themed nighties to choose from ! |

Ah well that’s the big 53rd birthday weekend over now - had Friday,Saturday and today at it and I am utterly DELIGHTED at some of ma lovely HTAFC themed presents !
Firstly thanks to mama mia for the fantastic 2023/24 home strip - it’s really beautiful indeed and I’d recommend anyone who has been swithering about it to get it as it’s a cracker !
Thanks also to ma lovely niece for ma personal ‘Westie’ 53 (on the back of the strip) card and for the personalised tea mug and ‘drink’ container !!! 👍
Got a fantastic beech towel with loads of squares with our badge in them which I really like on it and that’ll perfectly compliment lying in the grass up in The North of The West Island when I escape up there to read old HTAFC programmes interwoven between fishing and looking for sea eagles, buzzards etc on the binos...
Got a good few bottles of malt as well and two are drank already along with 24 cans of Tennents and the gin and vodka the ladies had - so all in all a good weekend and some more gear for ma collection - now for the countdown to see what this season’s away kit and also third kit looks like - it is HTAFC so they’re pretty good at that kinda thing so I’ve every confidence that they’ll do fine by us in that department and I anticipate in curiosity to these next launches ! 😊

Dunno about Acid Lime, I reckon who came up with that, & who approved it, must have been on Acid... it looks more like a Grateful Dead tour shirt than a football kit. Black shorts may have helped slightly, but this is a no from me.

It’s awful, but as I always readily admit it’s not aimed at me. Basically my thoughts. Lacks any sort of class, neon shite. At least they probably wont be able to do the standard pile of crap thing that all clubs do now and have some kind of 'meaning' behind what the shirt 'represents' Anyway, like you, it isnt aimed at me! I shall continue to wear my 1920s replica thick cotton job with the seemingly immovable curry stain on the front. |
