Welcome to the modern World. I am 30 and I think its all a bit much. I cant imagine for people your age. ( Just assuming most people on here are over 50) I’m over 50 and I like it! I listen to lyrics and meanings in music , it’s not always about having to dance to it. I would say this is more like slam poetry.

No age limit on the music you like, nearly 50 and I still listen to the heavy music I did at 8, despite it "being a phase". Got laughed at by family about 4 month ago, cousin's 21st so obviously they had some modern music on, then the DJ played a mix of Discocop and other classics and I was up banging one out like it was the 90s Slipknot hoodie, long hair, beard and spiked wristband giving it large to trance always gets a laugh

I just love music and totally agree that it’s therapeutic. Having recently moved house my job this weekend is to sort through all my albums stored in boxes. Can’t wait.

You'll spend half the time noticing songs you haven't heard for a while and playing them, swapping disks/records every five minutes. I speak from experience

I just love music and totally agree that it’s therapeutic. Having recently moved house my job this weekend is to sort through all my albums stored in boxes. Can’t wait. You'll spend half the time noticing songs you haven't heard for a while and playing them, swapping disks/records every five minutes. I speak from experience Whilst referencing them and reading the album reviews in my many music books! Love the stories behind the writing etc.
