At the rate we want players out of the door without bringing any in, they might be selling seats on the team coach to away games? Revenue stream that Nagle was talking about😉 Pay to play perhaps??Id be a striker given my footballing life was spent as a full back..😔 Paddy Kenney tells a great Warnock story, can't remember which team he was playing with at the time but , as usual for NW, they had pre-season in Cornwall/Devon. They were getting changed for a friendly when NW comes in with a 14 year old kid & his Dad & says this is so & so, he's going to play the last 15 mins tonight - it turns out that the lad's Dad had done some building work for Neil & arranged his payment as being his kid got to play  |

Alan Nixon:
Neil Warnock is planning a major clear out at Huddersfield - with centre half Will Boyle next on the way.
Warnock has to cut the payroll in his new job and Boyle is fancied by Wrexham, Stockport, Fleetwood and Bristol Rovers.
Wrexham could win the chase although Fleetwood are trying if they can move out Toto Nsiala who has a couple of clubs after him.
Warnock wants a fee which is slowing down his exit.

Good move for him. I could see him being a cult hero that stays there for a long time as they go up the leagues. Honestly wouldnt surprise me to see him playing for them in the Championship in a few years time.

In all seriousness, hope we got an over inflated fee with various clubs reportedly interested and we can use it to help legend Warnock in the market. He's earned a transfer budget after last seasons heroics!

I think he did okay for us. Came into the team during a difficult time when other far more talented players were playing below themselves.
Boyle made a couple of errors which led to goals conceded but equally he put in some great efforts, didn't put a foot wrong against QPR away for example, stopped alot that night.
There were other games when he did well for us too.
He was only signed as a back up for us and I think when called upon was fully committed and his attitude was bang on. Again, other players in the team with more talent wasnt.
He had a significant role when Cheltenham were promoted from league 2, the season before las. Many players talk about his influence on and off the field from Cheltenham side.
Probably not quite good enough for the championship at the moment but hes a very good league 2 and think Wrexham have done well to get him.

Jesus wept This is true but their Hollywood factor is bringing in a lot of attention and is bringing in a lot of sponsorship for them. Their income will be massive in comparison to all teams in League 2, League 1 and I bet with some teams in Championship. So they will have more to spend. They might be flashing the cash, but they do seem to be doing it right and have good intentions with the club. Fair play to them. |

Nothing but the best for Boyle.
Brought in as back up, and played his part well.
Best move for him for game time, and a move to Wrexham would be appealing considering the Hollywood connection.
Also saves us a wage, Yuta coming back, REG likely to feature more
