Good luck to him. Going to a club with ambitious owners from across the Atlantic who are willing to invest. You're becoming such a bore. Go support City or Wrexham fella.

I’ve supported Town for 30 years so no thanks. Having owners with no appetite for investment is definitely becoming a bore though. The FFP routine is bollocks. If we at a slight risk it’s no more than many clubs in the league who are at least trying to compete.

Best of luck to the lad, but he just couldn’t cope with the pace of the level. How he was supposed to replace Sarr is beyond me, it was like asking a Lada to keep up with sports cars.

Fair enough. Says undisclosed terms though which could be we paid him to leave like Holmes and we are the ones who want it undisclosed.

I expect it was a combination of things that did for him. We all knew (or at least strongly suspected) that he was a downgrade Vs Naby Sarr but I don't think many of us expected him to play very much. Just the odd game filling in when we had a few injuries. Plus he was (likely to be) on lower wages than his predecessor. Had we known at the time that Matty Pearson would get a long term injury, AND that Yuta Nakayama would also get a long term injury AND that Luke Mbete would be such an extraordinary downgrade Vs Levi Colwill things might have been different. Had he played less, then the downgrade on the pitch Vs Naby Sarr would have been less noticeable. Except, I'm still not convinced he was THAT bad. He certainly wasn't a disruptive influence, he's not a particularly bad defender, just lacks that bit of nous against the darker arts and that bit of quality needed at this level. He'll probably stand out in Lg2 and be perfectly adequate in Lg1 should Wrexham get promotion. And if they get to the 2nd tier quickly, they will probably have to move him on or accept that he will be a squad player covering for injuries.

Get into the real world fella. The budget for the season has nothing to do with the new ownership. Explain to everyone then how the FFP routine is bollocks? It certainly isn't. You come across as the type that thinks Football Manager is real.

I expect that those who are moaning about the lack of appetite for investment would also moan like fuck if we had the appetite for investment that Reading and Derby's chairmen have/had. Or if we had the appetite for investment that we had in summer 2018, be moaning like fuck in a few months time. Work within EFL rules or be punished for breaking them. I'm concerned for our prospects next season too, but we're in the 2nd tier and those who blew their brains out at this level are in the tier below.

Not as naturally talented as his mother, Susan, unfortunately. Better looking though. Not sure about that

Nothing but the best for Boyle. Brought in as back up, and played his part well. Best move for him for game time, and a move to Wrexham would be appealing considering the Hollywood connection. Also saves us a wage, Yuta coming back, REG likely to feature more I reckon he's only gone to Wrexham in the hope his rugged good looks ( ) can get him a job as Jason Statham's stunt double. He's done the job he was brought in to do so I can only wish him all the very best.

Not sure about that Saw this on the Wrexham forum which made me laugh "a non-supporting friend has pointed out that Boyle looks like a face mash of Iain Dowie and Vladimir Putin, and now i cant unsee it"

Terrible signing by Bromby, lower league clogger. Will probably do well at Wrexham.

He was decent signing. Came here to do a competent job as cover if needed... and did a competent job when he was needed.
He did just what we brought him in to do IMO.
Good luck to the lad.

At the rate we want players out of the door without bringing any in, they might be selling seats on the team coach to away games? Revenue stream that Nagle was talking about😉 Pay to play perhaps?? Id be a striker given my footballing life was spent as a full back..😔 I'll have that

Id be a striker given my footballing life was spent as a full back..😔 I'll have that Paddy Kenny was telling a story about warnock the other day . Pre season down in Cornwall. One of these games against pub teams that weve been playing. 20 minutes to go he brought a young lad on . Players all scratching their heads . Who the F is this kid ? Turned out it was the son of the guy who was doing some building work for warnock and he played his lad instead of paying for the work done .
