How can it be that DATM functions better that Town's operation? I'm starting to doubt my own existence.

It seems like it's luck of the draw whether you get through or not.
And then another lottery whether you'll get the right info once you finally get through, judging by the season ticket thread.

Ditto had similar problems. The club said that accessible seats could be booked online from this season, & a button has now appeared saying I can book them, but I just kept getting error messages about one thing or another until eventually it said the accessible seats were sold out. I had the usual phone cut-off after being on hold for ages, so went to the ground & bought what I needed trouble-free.
Am I right in thinking that Ticketmaster 'power' the website? An organisation that is geared up to shift a million tickets with ten million chasing them for weekend-long festivals somehow can't cope with 1500 Town fans wanting to head to a game!

I have no idea how many tickets will be available but surely anyone who wants one will get one?

I have no idea how many tickets will be available but surely anyone who wants one will get one? Just over 1600 altogether, but I think a combination of everything going on at the club, first game of the season & a while since we played there, demand is higher than it would have been if it ended up a Tuesday night mid-table scrap in January.
I agree though, I don't think it will sell out, but suspect people just wanting to get one to make sure.

One for the mad bastards and criminally insane. You've got me worried that my wife has a secret profile on here. That's pretty much her view of me going.

For all those arriving a day early or staying over its worth taking a trip down to the barbican harbourside area where all the nighlife food/pubs are
ThE walk from the SIR FRANCES DRAKE HOE over looks the amazing Plymouth sound on your way to the Barbican waterfront
Also THE LIFE CENTRE swimming pool next door to the ground is worth a visit as thats wher Tom Daly and the S/W England team train
Also a must is the fantastic boat trip from the Barbican to the dockyard to see the Navy fleet.
All those driving down best use the M5 past Bristol then A38 from Exeter to avoid the roadworks
Around an hour from Exeter to the Plymouth Hospital turn off then take the 2nd left which takes you straight to the ground IE about 15 mins drive from turn off
Watch out for speed cameras on this road
They have a big car park outside the ground which you will see on arrival and they use this for their car boot sale on Sundays where we go.
Very friendly people down in the S/W as most found out on the Devon/Cornwall tour
Just hope i can get a ticket then would look forward to seeing you all there

Phoned up to the usual music with messages telling me my call was important to us and there was excessive waiting times etc, ultimately gave it up as a bad job and got one online immediately, should have done that first.

The online system told me that all accessible seating was sold out, so I ditched the accessible website & headed to the much less accessible ticket office where they happily sold me one
Like you, my call was also very important to them. So much so that they cut me off after a while, presumably to leave me with the fond memory of a crackly version of Paradise.

I’ve a really good female buddy originally from The West Island but whose been in Glasgow for 30 years (now Cambuslang) and her brother hooked up with a bird from Plymouth when he was in the navy down there and the boy they had is a season ticket holder at Plymouth Argyle and is gonna get me a programme for this game and give it to his granny whose down that weekend and she’ll give it to her daughter ‘Screachy’ who’ll give it to me at the next Glasgow booze fest !
So thanks in advance Matthew for this very fine favour (And Carol and ‘Screachy’ in advance for getting it to me) - but I still obviously hope HTAFC get the three points ! 😉
NB : ‘Screachy’ is her long term nickname as her second name is McGeachy !

If so I think arterrier could be your wife. She’s more into staring helplessly at the floor whilst asking I’m doing with my life to be brutally honest.
