For those who are interested we've sold roughly 1100 tickets so far. Just been talking to an Argyle mate, they've sold out, so should be a great atmosphere. I remember when we took 600 for a Plymouth week day match as trying to avoid relegation

We will probably make a day of it. Drop the other half (no interest in football) off in the centre for a couple of hours shopping then pick her up after the match. I expect I will be driving so no ale fest for me until later in evening.

I'm only going if I can pay with Great British Pounds on the gate. If I have to exert myself by logging onto a website to buy a ticket in advance I won't bother.

It does genuinely piss me off how theres a ÂŁ1.50 added fee for every ticket. Ive bought 5 by phone. Tried the ticket office on Wednesday but it was shut. I had forgot that they don't open Wednesdays. Tried the website but couldnt manage to buy more than one ticket in a transaction so phoned them up on Friday. Bare in mind theres no physical tickets, theres nowt sent in the post. Theyve attached 5 tickets to one email and charged me seven extra quid for the pleasure. Its hardly scandal of the year but it still winds me up.

Let's be honest, if you can't opt-out, it's just the ticket price increased by ÂŁ1.50

I think the handling fee will be non existent in the next couple of years. I know some big hitters in the US have already been told to remove it. Always reminds me of the cash machines charging. It’s a con.

If I go to the ticket office I pay no fee, if I buy online there is a fee. So essentially it’s cheaper to employ people than have a online platform!

It's the the price you pay for turning over your ticket sales to third party vendors like Ticketmaster. Almost impossible to turn up to a music venue and buy a ticket at face value from their box office, even if you pay cash.

It’s a con. Exactly as you say, it doesn't cost to send a email or text to recipient, they already charge the club and fee, just people getting conned, the way the modern world is now unfortunately.
