Hi I’m an Ipswich Town fan who writes a blog about the EFL. I’ve written a predictions/preview article ahead of the Championship season. It’s quite long winded so I’ve split it into two parts. How are you feeling going into the new season? From the outside, it seems like the summer at Huddersfield has been a bit disappointing with the lack of transfers and I'm not sure Warnock is as suited to managing a club for the whole season anymore, although if he sticks around I can't see relegation being a possibility. Always plenty of opportunities with the recent takeover too and presumably there will be some incomings soon, which might make things look a lot brighter. Obviously happy to be hear other peoples' opinions as you all follow your club closer than I do. As with all season previews, nobody's ever going to be in complete agreement! If you enjoy, I’d really appreciate any subscriptions to the blog – it’s free! Most of the articles are deep dives into individual clubs rather than pieces like this but I like to mix things up from time to time. 19th for the Town (ours not yours) means you get a stay of execution for now, but what is even better is you think the Massive will go down. I don't expect all the members to be as nice to you. But good article.

19th for the Town (ours not yours) means you get a stay of execution for now, but what is even better is you think the Massive will go down. I don't expect all the members to be as nice to you. But good article. Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah completely fair enough if people think I've underestimated (your) Town, even if Warnock's more of a short-term impact manager these days he could definitely achieve higher than 19th just not sure he's got the right tools at his disposal. Didn't want to only focus on the forums of the teams I'd predicted to well though, as it would be a bit of a cop out. Although probably going to give the Norwich one a miss! As for Wednesday, they just seem in complete chaos at the moment. Their squad needs a revamp and just at the time they need some stability to oversee that, Chansiri has been up to his usual tricks. |

No point predicting, L666ds are already up. Haha! To be fair in the post-covid era with money tight in the Championship any team with parachute payments should be right up there and have no excuses. Farke's a good manager but I'm not sure the players fit in with what he'll want to do. |

Town fans have largely forgiven Ipswich for stealing Marcus Stewart and we did similar when Jordan Rhodes joined us. |

Thanks, good to be back up with your lot as well, I was planning to come up to Yorkshire for the away game but unfortunately I'm on holiday that week. Yeah selling Rhodes was probably Roy Keane's worst decision in charge of us, and that's saying something! |

Yeah going into the summer I wouldn't have expected to predict 19th but based off the window so far it's hard to go any higher. If there are a few incomings it could definitely bump it up a few places. Do you know what sort of budgets these new owners have put in place, are they planning to spend big? I've not heard too many rumours but you'll be in a better place to get that information than me. |

I've not heard too many rumours but you'll be in a better place to get that information than me. No idea at all. The new owners started off saying all the right things but so far delivery is all outgoing and we are told that they are severely limited by the FFP rules. Early days yet, but time will tell ( I guess a relatively short time ) |

Guess which team doesn't even feature in the list of odds?
