Town fans could do with learning how to lose. An enjoyable game up until their second and I think at that point we were the team who looked most likely. Three really bad goals conceded . Gutting really. But I saw this as a home banker before the game and I thought there was plenty to take from the game. A couple of players and everyone calms down and we'll be reet. For them saying it was an easy away game let's see . I bet Plymouth win far more than they lose at home. One things for sure. Nagle will be reviewing his twitter interactions by the end of the day . I bet he can't quite believe how "all or nothing" our fans are . Learning how to lose is part of life I was there and this about sums it up.

So Koroma and Thomas called out on Football League show by Neil. Be interesting to see their reaction to that.

3 awful goals to concede and huge chances not taken. That could so easily have been a different result with any sort of composure. 1st REG poor initial header, then an even worse one from Helik under no pressure and then can't sort his feet out as the ball comes back. 2nd Sorba gets turned too easily, but after that where is the defence? You can't just run in a straight line for 20 yards and have no one there to make a challenge. 3rd looks offside, but even so both REG and Helik can see the danger clearly and do nothing about it. Way too easy for a simple pass through with no cover. Agree that there wasn't much in it today. However for the first goal Nicholls HAS to come and collect it before Helik heads it. We were sat 3 rows behind the goal and it's keepers all day long. Not seen any replays as just got back, but for the 2nd their lad (who looked dangerous all game) seemed to run to the penalty spot pretty much unchallenged. For the 3rd Koroma turns the wrong way, loses possession and seconds later it's in the net. Fine margins at this level. It could easily have been 3 points today. Probably the law of averages evening out all the close games we edged in the final few months of last season.

That post by Sorba on his Snapchat story really doesn’t show him in a good light again. Need to just get rid of him, bad egg.

Any other organisation this would be bringing the company into disrepute. The guy needs humbling so much. Can’t believe he was in non-league less than 3 years ago.

Can someone explain in plain English to this dinosaur please?

Does the social media post expand on that picture and mention he was pissed off then? Would they normally charter a plane for that journey? Would your reaction have been the same had we won?

All I’ll say is, if you posted “this ‘company’ is taking the piss, is this” on your social media you’d likely get some form of disciplinary. Regardless of personal performance.

I take it he was having a joke and shouldn't be taken literally

I’d be interested how many players would sign for us if they weren’t allowed social media, that being said our owner seems to like it for how long I wonder!
I thought the play off coberan squad was poor but it had in my opinion a keeper having the season of his life, a left back having the season of his life, a future England captain, LOB who we haven’t got close to replacing and a raw non league recruit eager to prove himself. (You could also Tom lees best ever season too perhaps)
Now 15 months after play off final defeat we are left with that squad with some average/underwhelming additions mainly during last season.
I really do see how anyone can think the squad is anything like competitive without top class operators like CC and NW.
I am worried NW when he came in thought this was a top6 side last season and in fairness they finished the season as a top6 side… unfortunately we are nowhere near top 6 quality if we find ourselves in trouble again who will galvanise them this time?
Regards Sorba to my mind there was no way he would of been signed to be added to this ‘group’ of players that have character and qualities NW admires and looks for… he was brought back because he is ours simple as that…. It would be unfair to blame Sorba but he’s been called out by his manager today which really surprised me, in fact the whole jovial nature of NW shocked and surprised me… he has of course mellowed but the NW I know wouldn’t laughing and joking afterwards and blaming players publically!

maybe Sorbz has a bit of a bad humour tumour and that was his idea of funny. I'm not saying it's good - just saying when young ppl who aren't very articulate do this kind of shitposting on social media - it's probably best not to get too involved or enraged about it for self care reasons.
Maybe some players did need publicly calling out today? I'd trust NW to handle this in a constructive way - it's not like something he does every game like Fotheringham did.

Where’s the just got back thread or posts!?. Still here me. Thought Plymouth were shite and so were we. Their left back who scored second goal was excellent and the difference really as we were looking more likely at that point in the game. Local lad said they'd signed him for a million quid this summer. This is what we are up against, we cant sustain it forever going cheap. Despite the brilliance of Warnock. Best of luck to Plymouth for the rest of the season, seem a really good bunch, lovely place.

Quite pleased I managed to reign myself and not slag the team off on here or on twitter. (One dig at squad depth)
Wasn’t a warnock performance in the second half and he has quite rightly had a go at a few.
It’s very early days but let’s remember we have lost Holmes and Camara out of midfield. Neither has been replaced. It’s glaringly obvious that we are light in that department.
I don’t for a second believe that warnock and the club aren’t trying to do something about it. They need to hurry as we don’t want to be playing catch up again. The fans won’t stand another poor start to the season.

If I was Thomas I'd be a bit pissed off at being singled out by my manager for a goal like that given what had gone on in the game before it.
There were multiple occasions where he sprinted from one end of the pitch to the other to win the ball back or help to double up. The way Mumba went past him happens in any pro game you watch, you can't tackle successfully every time (especially given he's a winger) but for it to then end up in a goal was ridiculous and Warnock should be pointing the finger at those so called defenders who stood and watched him waltz around them like prime Messi.
I hope Edwards was the other one he singled out otherwise he's going to look like a hypocrite. He got rinsed by Mumba on more than one occasion

What we need is someone to create and drive midfield. It's a facile thing to say, as we clearly don't have him (and he won't be back). but if O'Brien was in that midfield yesterday it looks a very different team. The bottom line is we haven't replaced him and as a result we woefully lack the quality required in the centre of the pitch.
I cannot believe, at the moment with the window still open, that all who can influence this aren't aware and aren't working on getting reinforcements in. If we don't add to the team by 11pm on September 1st then it's unfair to expect Warnock to continue to produce miracles. As it stands I'm prepared to give everyone the chance, and time, to get new blood in.
As for the game we lost to a very average team and completely shot ourselves in the foot, but there will be bigger challenges than this to come. Our defending was poor on 3 critical occasions and we didn't take our opportunities. The first goal we conceded was a mighty cock up by experienced players, the conditions a small mitigation. The other two were just poor play all round.
I believe Warnock is well aware, I can't believe Cartwright and Edwards watched that and aren't aware of what's required. Mr Nagle is less experienced when comes to Championship football but as he has delegated to his team I'm sure he'll listen to what he is told.
We have time to address the issues. On Thursday we have an opportunity to ask Mr Nagle man to man what the financial constraints are. What we are told and what happens before the window closes looks massively important to how the Nagle era is viewed. All concerned deserve the time to address the issues.
From Mr Nagles' perspective I hope he is aware that the club has struggled on the pitch for 4 of the last 5 seasons. This from a position that we all hoped would see the club to be stronger. Mr Nagle can't change the past, none of us can, but he needs to recognise that past and his message needs to reflect it.
I sense Thursday is important for setting the record straight on finances and setting overall expectations. Irrespective of what we have, and are allowed to spend, there are key weaknesses in the squad (in the centre of the pitch for me) and we do need new/better players.
I'll give them the time to do something and make a judgement then. In the meantime I suspect the frustration maybe too much for a few. I suppose after 4 poor seasons in 5 that has to be expected.
It's a key few weeks, I'm still optimistic of something better and very much hope I'm right.

Sorba is the scapegoat at the moment though and he also doesn't help himself either. He did enough good stuff but he was at fault but the fact no one else put in any other challenge was poor.

At 1-1 we looked more likely to take the lead but overall thought Plymouth looked a bit better of 2 poor teams.I doubt we'll make as many chances against better teams.

I felt we looked the stronger side from 20th to 60th minute but even in that period they showed the odd flashes of individual skill/quality that we seem to lack.

Having just watched the highlights and watched the game.
The game really could have gone either way. We played some good stuff in and amongst.
The Kamikaze defending though, I cannot remember us ever giving away a goal like that second. It truly is unbelievable how the Lad can waltz through unchallenged like that.
We will never know how the match may have turned had we not given them that goal.
A couple of quality Players in, we will be fine.

Reflecting on yesterday it was an even game where we lost the key moments . Plymouth will likely be down there this season so could be two valuable points dropped but we’ll see .
Well done to them - passionate, full, ground kicking every ball . They’ll cause a few headaches for top teams this season .
We desperately need some quality bringing in - the depth on that bench … even if it had been fully fit … can’t be at that level all season.
Have full faith in Nagle , Warnock and co to kickstart the season next Saturday - even if it’s not the full three points - followed by some shithousery up at Boro to take us comfortably mid table
