Contrasting starts but seasons aren’t decided on day one
We had eight new signings starting today with another three on the bench Couldn’t ask for more
A first game away against a promoted side is never easy and the stats looked a lot closer than a 3.1 defeat.
So we’re up and running. Long way to go

Long way to go Welcome back Chadders, Agreed, one swallow doesn't make a summer (That was a season when we used to see a thing called the sun) but poor defending has left a bad taste in my mouth. Still a long way to go roll on Leicester for an easy three points 😆 |

What are your thoughts on edwards at right back chadders? I thought he was the worst right back ive seen at town in a while, scratching my head, as i cant acutally remember 1 as bad since pre Jack Hunt which is over 10 years ago.

I always liked him but I have to say after a cracking start in the Premier League his career as definitely gone backwards Town is possibly his last chance so I hope he takes it There’s a good player in there |

Always good to hear from chadders.
Wife’s birthday followed by a very early set off to the airport in the morning meant I’ve not been today. Lucky me I guess.
Tough start to the season, let’s hope for a bit of luck in the next couple of weeks or it’s going to get messy very quickly

What did I say about newly promoted sides being difficult to beat. Bought us down to earth very quickly
So we both go down to the only two sides with 100% records (after only two games !)
Disappointing weekend but in both cases probably not totally unexpected

And a striker that actually knows where the net is Still Early days but Leicester look too good for the rest Having watched Leicester last week against us, I didn't see anything to suggest they are too good for the rest. A clinical side would have scored 3 or 4 against them. Can see them dropping a fair few points away from home. |

I have to say your initial fixtures haven’t been easy Norwich didn't deserve a four goal margin of victory but we probably deserved a four goal margin of defeat, if that makes any sense. We were very poor today outside of the first ten minutes, just a bad day at the office all round. Silly mistakes costing us and then our heads drop and the opponents smell blood. Warnock was slow with his subs today, think he's too old-school for all this five changes malarkey. The fixtures haven't been easy, but everyone plays everyone twice. The table is meaningless until mid September. |

Morning Chadders. Dont worry about us, we've got a centre forward who "works his arse off". We've had well over 200 pages on our transfer thread. Never has so much been written about so little.

Been a bit of a meltdown here as we've decided to let 30 go and brought in 4..alas that leaves us with Ward as the only striker on our books !..Ward is not a goalscorer which kind of explains how we've only scored once this season, and that was a CB. The euphoria over the new ownership has dissolved into a lynching mob.. |
