And yet we have people on this forum who spend their entire time scapegoating players for their performance, certain players overtime may not turn out to be Championship standard but at least they are trying to make a go of their career, how about just giving them some support. The abuse Scott High gets on here is embarrassing, rant over. Yes because saying Scott High is anonymous in games on a HTFC football forum is the equivelent of racially abusing a player directly on twitter or Instagram. š¤” He's presumably not on about comments like that, rather the incessant OTT slating of him. I doubt many would question someone saying High is far from sufficiently involved when he plays.

Looks to be some comments on his latest Instagram post. One from someone in Hong Kong, another from a European sounding Instagram profile. Both faceless, both nameless. Some other abuse from a Spanish sounding name. Can't see what effective action the club could take on random people around the world that send this shite... Some will use VPN's to hide themselves also. As some new (previously banned posters) have done on here. If you wouldn't say it to someone's face, don't say it behind their back. If you do say it to their face and it's disgusting, you deserve the crack you'd get across your face. I'm ashamed sometimes to be English, British, whatever. We just seem to be going backwards as a society. Apologies this is takes things off on a tangent.

Not only are they ignorant, racist cards, theyāre so broken theyāre drawn to seeking out Town playersā performances in the Milk Cup. Amoebas.

He is a terrific player and I seriously hope this doesn't affect his confidence because it is a pleasure watching him play. One of my favourite players at the minute.

Possibly not Town fans at all but instead overseas guys using betting sites and who's bets have been affected by his sending off?

Big future ahead for Jaheim, let's hope we all get behind him, all the best kid, the best thing you can do is keep performing & metaphorically stick 2 fingers up at the racist bastards.

This, like the abuse Sorba gets branding him a nonce, is characteristic of what many footballers face.
We should all remember that when choosing our weekly scapegoats. The sensible amongst us canāt be dragged into the polarised views of the vocal minority who revel in our own playerās failings at times.
Theyāre all young men making their way in the world.

Social media gives these people an easy way to be like that. We see it more now because it is called out, which is good. There will always be racists but at least now it is highlighted and a zero tolerance stance is taken.

But I'm 99% sure no Town fan has sent Jaheim any racist abuse on the back of a red card in the first round of the league cup. Like I mentioned, I saw 3 comments on Instagram, one from someone called Daniel Felipe Rojas who sent 2 non-racist but abusive messages, a racist comment from a profile called hanaabakkrr with 0 followers, and a racist comment from another user whose bio said 'Hong Konger' or something. I'm not sure this will be any consolation at all to Jaheim as racist abuse is still racist abuse regardless of where it comes from - but like some have suggested, this is likely random people in different countries with no connection to Town who have had a bet on the game.

Yes - the latter was the account "d_deruss" - It seems to have existed exclusively to make inanely offensive replies to posts by clubs / players from across the footballing world. The account has been deactivated but Google's cache still returns a fairly representative sample. Not a chance is this a Town fan (with or without a VPN!)

Worth considering anyway rather than an immediate assumption that they were all actual Town fans.

Surprisingly I cant see any threads regarding Headley and the "social" media reaction to his dismissal last night. If any of the brain dead, ignorant arseholes that racially abused him on twitter lurk on here, then I hope you are hanging your head in shame. These pond life that do such things have no place in the Huddersfield Town family or in any decent society

Complete and utter pricks who wouldn't have the balls to say it to his face.
Hope they get found and publicly identified.
I know a few Fartown lads who'd LOVE to discuss the issue with them, wankers!

JH took one for the team, he is a great talent and does not deserve racial or any other kind of abuse.

Whoever is responsible it is a disgrace. I hope he gets a fantastic reception when he steps back out on the pitch - and I am sure he will.
There is no-one in our team who is deserving of any abuse whatsoever. I've always taken a view if someone isn't up to it that getting on their backs and being generally unpleasant isn't going to help.
It seems, sadly, that people feel that having access to a keyboard is carte blanche to say what they want. It's pretty pathetic really.

This is deeply upsetting I had seen 1 of the things that one person put.
All hide behind fake profiles. Makes my blood boil...š”š”
Hopefully Jaheim doesn't take it too bad and doesn't put him off his game.
Young man made a mistake in sure he will learn. I think he could of kept running along side the man because he was out pacing him and outside the box running away from goal.
But racist behaviour is totally unacceptable, hopefully the police do their jobs.

I was around in the 70s & 80s and the odd bit of rough and tumble was part of life, but once a pecking order was established things regained order. Often a smack in the mouth did idiots a lot of good. I know its not PC but I yearn for the old days. The real tough lads weren't generally racist, they didn't need to find a victim to bully. Anonymity on social media is destroying society.

Remember watching that National Service programme a few years back where they put "tough" guys through national service. One of them was so tough he'd been in a fight, lost, so went to his car to get a weapon. REAL tough. The squaddie PTIs soon showed him what tough is

My old man's a comparative midget (5'2") compared to most squaddies. A while after he demobbed he was picked on in a pub by these two youngish lads, quite large, obviously thought they were rock hard. He told them to leave off so they followed him into the car park. Neither of them followed him back in
