Hope not, never liked Nike plus they'd only give us kits out of their catalogue and Adidas kits look shite at the moment with their insistence on putting a stupid stripe down the side and round the bottom. Sacramento have Hummel, they've always made nice kits. Off the peg or not, if it increases revenue then that's the main thing. It's not a fashion parade. Would it increase revenue ? Are we selling less Umbro ones than we did Puma π€. The bigger brands are only interested in servicing the biggest clubs, everyone else gets the same range as district league teams.

It would when shite like Castore have been mentioned π€’ Castore kits look quite smart from the ones I've seen. I'm old fashioned. All kits should be made by Adidas, Umbro or Admiral π€¬π

It seems strange as it would appear that thereβs a three year strategy to cover the thrice champions centenary. This year, one gold star, etc. It doesnβt bother me particularly, too old for it, but would imagine these years are planned out.

Ask if Town will do a pre-season tour of USA next year... I asked him this whilst when I got my picture with him, he wants it to happen but doesnβt know if itβs going to be in the USA or here but try to convince the whole of Huddersfield will come over and have a good piss up and he agreed

Difficult to follow as Iβm not on Twitter but looking at the CL site some of the key points for me: Signings seem fairly imminent. They are already planning for post-NW A hint that fans could possibly return to Canalside. The club has looked at Gas Club, considering other options, including in town centre? Not happy with merchandise. Club wonβt take up option to continue next season. I could be wrong but not much been said about this yearβs budget and why itβs so constrained? I'm sorry I couldn't get there but I would have certainly asked for clarity on budgets and immediate investment. My take is the aim is to generate additional revenue for the club by driving the surrounding infrastructure, and other opportunities. Additionally the Academy will be extended and be part of our wider strategy for developing the 1st team. In short extensive 1st team investment isn't imminent, or likely but there will be a longer term strategy for development and improvement. You can see why had the club dropped into League One it wouldn't have put KN off buying us. NB: I don't mean that dropping to League One is acceptable to KN but had we the strategy apparently outlined tonight would have made sense. Immediate term the players we sign, performances on the pitch and results will ultimately determine what people think. At least I know what to expect, based on what I've read and it isn't a big push to improve immediately on the pitch. There is however a longer term plan to get better. My worry is that after 4 poor seasons in 5, and a failure to build on the good season, patience might not be the best.

Interesting response to the merchandise question. Does Kev mean Umbro and kit supplying? I took it to mean the general retail stuff but the answer about opting out of final year makes me think Umbro. I actually like what Umbro have done with the kits recently. Would be a shame to change It would when shite like Castore have been mentioned π€’ Castore have some real quality gear.. have you tried any or do you mean you don't like the look.of their kits etc? First ones to bring out shower proof golf hoodies and they are top end quality wise.

Like most stuff, theyβre probably made in the same massive sweatshop, an 8 year old on 25p a day just sews a different logo onto them before they get shrink wrapped.

Thoroughly enjoyed that Q&A. Some searching questions that were answered honestly by KN in my opinion.
He obviously has an American slant on how the club should be run, particularly towards generating revenue and improving the match-day experience. We should see some ideas being implemented on this, this coming Saturday.
To me he came across as a genuine bloke who has the best interests of the club foremost.
The questions asked and the answers given can be perused by all on the Cowshed Loyal Twitter and are all, as well, summarised and discussed on this thread. For those not there, draw your own opinion from these.
Thanks again to the Cowshed Loyal for organising; these evenings are very much appreciated.

Anyone wish to expand on this? If there is some truth in it, Iβm not sure itβs for me, partly because I think this ship has sailed in terms of maximising revenue from it. But what do I know about stuff like this.
