Any news on who won the meat draw yet?! Westie. But he didn’t read the small print, they only courier to mainland Scotland. Lossiemouth Terrier will look after it for him… 😉 Westie wouldn't have been impressed with the selection. It didn't have lorne sausage, or fruit pudding in it....

Bit disappointed with the lack of answers from this based on what I've read. Maybe the people attending didn't dare ask the difficult questions that have been suggested on this thread. Couldn't make it myself as am out of the country.

Wasn’t there but the last question where he answered ‘me or the next guys will’ whether we would get to the prem. Did anyone ask him to elaborate on that?
Probably nothing to it but just curious.

Are we signing anyone then or are we brassic? Still working on initial 2 top targets, so presume must be Dele Ali and Juan Mata

So no one thought to ask if he was looking for additional investors?

Castore kits look quite smart from the ones I've seen. Well, if they went with them it'd save me, on their current prices at least £75 by not buying a shirt. They also do shirt versions at over £100 too 🫣 I've asked the Q of this with greedy league club supporting mates. They have fan versions for a lower price and an 'authentic' version for >£100 - basically it means it's the same as the teams wear. I couldn't fathom why they'd be different. Just another money fleecing ruse.

Just to remind you there’s twelve pennies to the shilling, twenty shillings to the pound. ............ and 960 farthings. Farthings went around 1959 I believe. I can't be arsed to look it up. I barely remember them, I was 7 back then.

It's a shame no one asked about the club doing something to help Marcus Stewart Be great if he is well enough to come up for the Ipswich home game 30th September.

Jeez DATM gold Folk that moan week in week out about lack of engagement from the club . I note one in particular who does it regularly. The guy flies thousands of miles and then on the day of the q and a go "can't make it tonight" . What exactly was so important ? I know things are hotting up on Emmerdale Farm and in the Queen Vic but come on ...

In 1937, under the reign of George VI, the design on the reverse was changed from Britannia to an image of a wren, one of Britain’s smallest birds. This design remained until it went out of circulation on 1st January 1960. The farthing had actually stopped being minted in 1956 It remained legal tender however, in the Falkland Islands and its dependencies, and also in the British Antartic Territory, until it ceased to be legal tender on the 31st October 1970.

Can anyone shed light on what this question and answer below actually means? Kevin almost seems surprised the club spends more than it earns? Are we aiming to become the only team in the league that don't lose millions every season?
Q:" How is FFP going to affect the club?
KN: " We inherited a lot of debt. Most of it has now gone away. We took the new budget, which actually has more expenses that it has revenue coming in.
We have to fix that and bring dollars into the club."

Town's are £50

We took the new budget, which actually has more expenses that it has revenue coming in. We have to fix that and bring dollars into the club." Agreed, it’s quite worrying. Nagle has said many times that he wants the club be run in a sustainable way, which I applaud, but as I mentioned above that will mean a dramatic increase in turnover to be able to compete at the top level. This can obviously be done in a few ways, but the most obvious would be to increase income by just selling more stuff, merchandise, food/drink etc. which in reality wont bring millions in. The other option is via player sales, buy cheap & sell high, which IIRC was the same ideology as Hoyle. This is obviously much more a long term way to increase income and involves us front loading investment to bring players to the club. It can be done of course, look at Brighton, but as pointed out they weren't spending £50k on players, it was more in the millions so we'd have to be prepared to lose money in the short term to gain in the long. As I've said I've no problem with running the club sustainably, it should be applaudes. My worry is that Nagle maybe thinks it will be easier to do so that it actually is. Football is a fine balance between the here and now and the future and you have to make you are competitive in real time or things like relegation can happy and quickly scupper all the plans. Reading the Tweets from last night's Q&A Nagle spoke well and said the right things, but as always the proof of the pudding will be in the eating.
