Rudoni played out of position in a crap ream for two seasons, Best player by a proverbial mile. He will sell this summer to another championship club and we will four times our the price we paid. So he has a pissed off last game and AB takes him off as a show of strength.ha bloody ha Burgzhog has real talent but a waster.Never had his head up.Unlike Rudoni even playing right bloody wing. Whos paying 2m+ for an attacking midfielder who barely scores or assists?! Has talent but nowhere near as good as many seem to think.

Why did AB keep playing him though, after Coventry at home?
He was worse than useless that day up front.
I’d have picked literally anyone ahead of him- but instead - we kept picking him until we were down. Then suddenly, decided he was no good.

If they’re not fit enough to play 45 mins then why are they on the bench? Useless.

He was one for the 16 year olds on Twitter who love ‘cool’ players who do skills.

Agree played like a spoiled brat , as shown glimpses of potential but that’s it, no where near a championship player last season but thought he was because he’d listened to too many folk telling him he was. I think he's a decent player actually, but would benefit from playing with players that can do the basics. However, his actions against Ipswich were ridiculous and in all honesty, as much as I do rate him, he's been cack this season. I think he could be not is and definitely as contributed to our demise his goal output for his position this season was pathetic.

People are quick to jump on the backs of Burgzorg and Sorba as being the bad apples in the barrel, however take away there quantifiable contributions, as in goals scored and assists and we would have been relegated in January.
This all reminds me of the last time we were relegated when Phil Billing, Lossl and Zanka were hounded by the fans for being the cause of our problems. Their careers went onto much greater heights than the club they were disrupting.
Town fans seem quick to find a scape goat and their anger usually seems misplaced.

All three of them spoke to the press and said they didn't want to play for Huddersfield Town anymore while they were still contracted to us.

Seems to me like the players have been taking the piss, the manager has called them out on it and they've chucked their toys out of the pram. I saw Rudoni against Ipswich. His attitude stank. There was an interview with Rudoni pre match towards the end of the season. He was asked about his previous experience of relegation on final game of season with prev club. He smiled and think he said he scored 2 goals in the gme (the team was relegated at that match) and said it wasn’t so bad for himI was shocked That made me think of Andy Payton. I think it was Jacko who got rid of him because he was happy when Town lost as long as he'd scored a goal.

Sorba very visibly tried hard on the pitch all season, and I'm finding it hard to criticise him too much; despite his petulance.
AB has desperately attempted to airbrush his short stint with us from his CV by blaming certain squad members for relegation.
I was a Burgzorg fan up until his injury. However, his attitude was utterly appalling after he returned from his injury, irrespective of what his natural position might be. It'll be interesting to see where his career goes. I'm going to wager that he ends up wandering around Europe, popping up at a different club every season. His record indicates that managers see his 'street football' talent and decide to give him a go on that basis; up until they very quickly get wise to him being an absolute dickhead.

I think justasmithers was absolutely spot on when he said the question about toxicity was 'conjecture' & nobody knows if its the truth or not.......That coming from someone closer to both sides of the debate than a number on here, maybe believing everything AB says (perhaps KN too?), I'm with CD on this one?

Not having this Breitenreiter is a villain prose . For over two thirds of the season we saw : 1. Burgzorg be greedy and think he was a cut above . The only fond memory I have of him is the Blackburn home game . 2. Thomas only provide tangible contributions through set pieces . Other than that his notable input was bookings for dissent . 3. Koroma disappear again #simonbaldry 4. Rudoni run about a lot but when it came to shooting , I’ve tapped fannies harder .Breitenreiter probably called bullshit and outed them . He probably also did other things to fuck the group off so they go to social media to tell “their side”. The lot of them can fuck off . I’d rather see lads here who give a toss This had me laugh out load

My take on it is a lot of our squad are immature with a low IQ.Look at the likes of Lees, Pearson and Helik... players with a personal pride in their work. Burgzorg , Thomas and all the petulant troublemakers need shifting on. I know who I'd rather be in the trenches with. I've said it many times. Sorba Thomas is thick as pig shit. Town released the season before last following a commercial deal with First Bus. It was a quiz between LOB and Toff against Sorba and somebody else. If you can find it, just watch it and you can see he is not bright at all. But, he does have talent. The level of talent may cause debate, but he does have talent none the less. With that, he was signed from non league and will have had decent money given to him. So that combination of the money (and prob hype men bigging him up), he will think he is better than he actually is. Plus the Wales call up and attention that created will have just added to the illusion. Saying that, its prob not all his fault. As ( htafcokay alluded to in another post, the 2004 promotion squad were young but had pride in their work. The money wasn't like it is now then. Still better than before but not as good as now. So they would be more grounded. So it is also a by product of the issues with the players getting all that money earlier before had time to develop life experience.

Those two individuals would have players willing to run through a brick wall for them, something that is absent today. Nowadays, the tail wags the dog and 1. the managers aren't here long enough to build any kind of relationships with the players 2. the managers aren't managers anymore, they're glorified head coaches now, so either aren't equipped or have no experience in man-managing players, as it's all about tactics.

I'd say with exception of Helik and Nicholls, this is hands down the most dislikeable squad I've ever seen in my time watching Town, it's bordering on full hatred to be honest. Just such a piss excuse for a set of players, completely unrelateable, unlikeable, with zero affinity for the fans. Just fucking fuck off and be quick about it. And the season award for the must puerile bollocks post goes to the above, you really do need to find something else to do with time, an overreaction that is off the scale ! You keep your head buried fella. And you having the nerve to call anyone puerile is hilarious. Now get back in your box.

A post after the manager has left by the most selfish player we have seen in decades and some start to question whether the issue was more with the manager. The fact the players who liked it or commented on it are exactly those who we suspected as being the bad eggs, to some extent proves they were a little clique. They can all get fucked, we need a team not a bunch of self centered individuals. Huddersfield Town are far greater than that bunch of wasters. Some of the responses just go to show that sections of the fanbase really are part of the problem here. I swear there are some fans who if they came home to find the players shitting on their carpet and taking turns on their wife, they'd get down on their knees and cry 'we're not worthy!.

That's about the size of it. Some of his football is easy on the eye and he at least looks like he's making an effort, but ultimately, most of what he does is ineffective. Not what you really need when the rest of your regular midfielders can't pass water and score a goal a season at best.

The problem is supporters pick up on everything players say when things aren’t going well and they become part of the problem. I’d give the lad a break on that one. Rudoni and Thomas will leave us I think and Thomas may sort his attitude out and go on to better things and I am sure, in a better team, Rudoni will shine and become a real fans favourite.

Yep another bizarre approach from Andre who for me really didn’t care at all and didn’t try. Just played whoever and got what ever result. There was no urgency. The set ups were wrong and the selections were wrong. I back the players over him including Sorba. They’ll do well next year if we get someone competent and motivated.

Wow, what a smart response, I presume you don’t find Spencer, Lees , Pearson, Hogg, Kasumo, Healey et al, upto your levels, and you take no account of the injuries many of our squad suffered , or the length of time they were out , or the fact most of the time our bench was full of 18/19 year old players meaning we couldn’t effectively change players during games, anyway you carry on with your foul mouthed knee jerk rant, why not try giving some thought to your posts instead of the usual , just blame the players, you need to get back in your box . As for the “ fans are to blame” , priceless 😂😂.

The power and control is in completely the wrong hands.

Let’s not pretend that was why the club as failed since, it’s complete lack of investment , if we had gone out and spent the billing money it might have been the best decision ever . This team as been very shit if the best paid players are shit then maybe the money could be spent better elsewhere and to top it off some of those better paid players are arseholes and don’t contribute to a good team ethic . As for all the goal contributions and assists we’d of been relegated by jan, what goals scored and assists they hardly contributed or scored all year. I heard a stat the other day might be wrong but someone said town have only had 4 or 5 seasons since the 1950s where the top goal scorer scored less than 10 . Well this was one of the years and DB played a huge part in that and ST doesn’t even know where the net is.

How are people deciding whether to be on Team AB or team Sorba/Della et al? I'm fairly certain almost everyone on here has no idea what actually went on behind the scenes.
Everything else is just opinions. For what it's worth, my opinions are that;
Sorba was good this season and looked like he was putting a right shift in right up to the point where AB started covering his arse. Could just be coincidence.
Burgzorg. Probably trying too hard. Hasn't got the football brain to play anywhere near this level and plays like a 2 year old who just wants to keep the ball. Disliked him as player but wouldn't accuse him of not trying.
Rudoni. One of our better players for both of his years here. Will definitely go onto better things and will no doubt look class in proper team, especially if he sorts out his finishing.
AB was an absolute failure here. If you want to be a manager, manage! Don't make things worse and leave the mess for somebody else.

But billing got grief long before that. As much as burgzorg is an annoying twat I don’t think he downed tools. He was just rubbish but rubbish playing out of position. As for those now having a go at rudoni, ffs he never stops trying and he was probably pissed off at having to play that last match once we were relegated. As a fan base we love to try and ruin players

A Leopard doesn,t change his spots. And none of these players will change their attitudes either,no matter whch team they play for.The job of Manager was made weaker when clubs began appointing so called DOF,s.So it was Cartwright,s job to manage players, not the 1st team coach.
