If we get stuffed today then I can see Warnock announcing he is leaving in his post match interview

Tough game with a team that also plays direct where possible
Today I’d go for
Nichols
Pearson Helik Nakayama
Thomas Hogg Wiles Rudoni Headley
Burgzorg Koroma
I’m sure that won’t be the team but gives us natural pace to counter with and a solid back three . Impacts on bench limited to Diarra , Ward and Ruffels

That looks decent, Jones for impact also. Not sure how far off Hudlin would be too. Not sure if some are saying he's not good enough just because of his background or how he can play now. The next game is the only important one and if he is a fast learner under a good coach, who knows?

Anyone know if Kasumu is in full training and could be ok from now on (or not)?

Nichols
Pearson Helik Nakayama
Thomas Hogg Wiles Rudoni Headley
Burgzorg Koroma
Please don't play Danny ward and we may have a shot.
I'd be inclined to start hudlin to see how wba dealt with his height

He’s got to try something different today, got to get more presence in the attacking 3rd. Surely Yuta is fit enough for 70mins also.

Shit season so far. Shit window. Away game at one of the top sides.
If ever a game had Town win written all over it it’s this.
1-2 Town

I’ve predicted a loss which almost certainly means we will win!

Nicholls Pearson, Helik, Nakayama Sorba, Rudoni, Hogg, Wiles, Headley Ward, Burgzorg
Think it's time to change the shape. To shore up the midfield, to get Nakayama in the team, and to get some support up top for Ward.
Warnock hasn't played Sorba as a wing back yet, is persevering with Ruffels at left back and doesn't seem to want to risk Yuta so I doubt any of the above will happen!

Warnock said he was impressed with Burgzorg in training this week so I wouldn't be surprised if he plays up front in a 352.

Unfortunately I can't envisage anything other than Ward starting up front and Nakayama spending another 90 minutes getting splinters in his arse.

I'm in the Liverpool side of Manchester this weekend, there's a thing on involving some of my partners family. I'm not involved and some others aren't either at least this afternoon. Someone has decided we are doing a stadium tour of Anfield. I will be thinking of Porro all the time 😄 At least when we get to the Shanks section I can chip in with the Town link.

I’d prefer us to go back to the football we played the back end of last season, even if it means 20-30% possession. Winning games is all that matters, even if it was a shite watch.
Hopefully Nicholls puts the rumours behind him. Can see wiles starting with rudoni and Hogg in midfield.
Release the zorg.

The window is shut, no point banging on about it. It’s time to get behind the players we have got!
Tough game ahead, especially off the back of a 0-4 home defeat.
I’d take a scrappy 1-1, I’m pretty sure Warnock will be banging the drive mentality into the squad.
UTT!

What's the timeline on Lees and Kasumu please ? Lees isn’t far off. I think he slipped a disc in his back at the end of his last injury but expects to be back after international break.

If we get stuffed today then I can see Warnock announcing he is leaving in his post match interview I think with the international break coming up he could quite easily quit today whether we get thumped or not. Tbh though I don't think he will, he's got a couple of new players and some experienced players coming back soon from injury...

Not that it’ll bother who’s arranged that, but I wonder what the fascination is with stadium tours? Here’s the changing rooms. Here’s the boardroom. Here’s the Mgrs office. Here’s the boot room & physio. As much as Liverpool gets berated on here, there are better paid for tours that must be available. I appreciate with the bigger clubs it’s a lot of foreigners who only see these teams on the telly, so I guess it’s the equivalent of someone who’s into American football going to visit on of their stadiums if you’re in the country. Anyway, see if you can spot Roberston’s histrionics pills in his locker?
