Anyone know if Stewie is going to be at the game tomorrow? It's sure to be a rousing and emotional welcome if he is. Marcus is going to be on part of the walk, yes.

Anyone know if Stewie is going to be at the game tomorrow? He's going to Lockwood Park after the walk to watch Huddersfield RUFC, so he wont be at the game. His two lads lek for Huddersfield egg chasers. He was out in Slawit last weekend having a pint and looked well. Good luck to everyone that is doing the walk today, I hope you have alot of fun, its all for a great cause and in honour of a true Huddersfield Town great.

13 miles in, the ankle is giving me a bit of jip but weβre plowing on regardless.
Met Marcus up at castle hill, he looked in great shape considering.
Currently sat outside Harveyβs in Fenny Bridge having a pint. Like you do.

Was nice to meet you yesterday Mike. Was a good and well organised day - as you say Marcus looked well and was in great spirits all things considered - had some good banter with Boothy too. Popped to Kirkheaton Con club to see a band last night and my wife did a sound job collecting a load more cash for me on the sponsor form! ππ»
A big congratulations to all those who completed the walk, not forgetting all the very generous charity donors.π«Άπ

It's becoming evident that I'm not as young as I used to be, and activities like this walk serve as a stark reminder of that fact. As most of you are probably aware, Boothy is exceptionally talented. We couldn't have asked for a better representative for our club. Although I do question his claim about the abundance of arrows; we only spotted five! Oh, Boothy! That being said, we did take a wrong turn near the Beaumont Arms, which, as we now know, added an extra mile to our walk. I encountered Marcus three times during the day, and as I mentioned in my previous post, he seemed to be in good condition. He's facing some challenges with his left arm, but apart from that, everything seems to be fine. The third time I met him was, for me at least, was quite emotional. I found it hard to keep it together. I want to thank once again everyone who contributed. Thank you.

Well done to all those who took part in this. Good to see Sir Marcus of Stewart looking so good, long may he stay relatively healthy. Again, massive kudos to those who participated.

Don't feel too upset, I spoke to a few people and you weren't the only ones to make that wrong turn. I really did enjoy the walk, but my calves are still aching now! Here's the video I think foxtrot666 was mentioning, for anyone who hasn't seen it:

They are doing a 17 mile walk in Bristol on Saturday to raise money for Marcus's charity. I believe he will be taking part. Β£430,000 raised overall thanks to all the various events and generous supporters.
