There has been actions though? He’s changed managers and spent relatively heavily by our standards. From everything I’ve seen and heard from him the fact it hasn’t worked out will be hurting him badly. Rome wasn’t built in a day, I don’t see how braying for blood and immediate penitence from the owner helps us move forward. So many desperate “told you so’s” on here, nothing good happens without significant risk, it’s gone wrong this time, but they’ll learn, give him some time. I said I’m not interested in his mate interviewing him and fed up of all the constant waffle. If you enjoy the video diaries then knock yourself out pal, I’m sure there will be another one in a few days. The action you refer to included sacking one manager in September because they fell out and sacking the second one after he’d already hit the iceberg. Not to forget throwing money at injured players. 👍 Probably shouldn’t have replied to your post, it was more a general reply to the whole thread. If you don’t like the videos don’t watch them.

I don’t really get why it’s vital for Kevin to come out and say something this very minute. What’s wrong with waiting seven days until after the final fixture? Hopefully he will have worked up a plan for what happens next behind the scenes. As for the players, Kevin should hold his tongue to make sure he can maximise what they bring in when he tries to sell them. Hopefully Breitenreiter stays (not sure he will) and the club moves quickly to build the squad he wants.

What’s the point Nagel carrying on with the people he’s put in charge. Definition of insanity repeating the same things abd expecting different results.

Siewart decided to tell the world our team was full of tossers. Just before we try sell them!!! Unbelievable. It’s like posting on Mirfield Matters how shit your car is and keeps breaking down. Then next week asking if anyone on Mirfield Matters wants to buy your car.

We've just been relegated after a pathetic season, the owner told us all season not to panic, he fucked up, why shouldn't we want answers? Wait a week for him to own up to his mistakes? Fuck that! When did the demand to hear from a chairman at the end of a season start? I don't remember demanding to hear from Ruberry, Taylor, Davy etc at the end of each season? You'll learn a lot more listening to Andre's Radio Leeds interview yesterday. Someone who works with the players every day. If you think the chairman is going to come out and namedrop saleable assets as bad eggs etc next week I think you'll be disappointed. When we’ve lost our tier 2 status and face another decade plus in footballs irrelevance leagues. That’s when.

As a teenager I remember a very vocal protest outside the main entrance to the ground demanding Ruberry address the fans. He sent someone out that would speak if all that were stood there would listen. After about a minute of speaking someone started “WE WANT RUBERRY OUT” chant and the doors were closed. I don’t think it’s unreasonable for Nagel to come out and speak to the fans. Seen as though he said he has a plan for premier league football in 3 years. And in 1 year we’re now a third division side.

He,s fed us full of shite He didn't listen to a heck of a lot of fans that warned him what would happen when he got rid of Neil...Neil even reached out after Moore,s sacking,,yet the big man said he wanted continuity!! I won't believe another word that comes out of his mouth..he holds court with Cartwright yet dismisses the thoughts of the majority of fans

@justasmithers
I think there is a case for Mr Nagle doing a Q&A with one of the Town podcasts (AHTTC or Town Social) as I think that direct communication would be beneficial as opposed to a lot of unstructured exchanges over social media. Are you able to suggest/influence that with Mr Nagle? Yes there would be some tough questions but presented reasonably and I think it would help many fans to understand the overall plan.
Here's hoping the suggestion is considered.

He didn't say that, Warnock did. It was Jake Edwards. I think it was NW who revealed it though in his last press conference. Somewhat of a parting shot to those that got rid of him I imagine because I don't believe (though could be wrong) that anyone else had gone public with this aim.

Your last sentence is exactly what we will do. I'm pretty sure that won't happen because the bunch of losers agents will already be getting them contracts to lose elsewhere. Do you think clubs will come in and take players like Kasumu (as an example) from us? I can see Thomas, Helik, Rudoni and Spencer getting a Championship club. I'm not sure there'll be a queue forming to pay the rest of them the same as we're paying them (and therefore, they would reject any move away).

really it was Neil who said this Jake talked around it as he didnt want the plan to be public knowledge, internally the plan of 3 years is a good plan its not something at that time the supporters needed to hear however as a 3 year plan might turn into 4-5years very easily and you dont want to build up too much hope, it was more Neil Warnock hype to make him look good he does a lot of this type of thing, in reality Neil has as bigger part to blame for this season as anyone else, to the same point he also has a massive amount of praise for keeping us up the season before. Hey who knows without Neil coming back we might now be celibrating promotion to the championship from L1. You cant change the past all you can do is learn from it and be in a much better position in the future.

I think I was referring to how good agents are at engineering moves for players who want to move. If things are as AB has states within the dressing room I can imagine some definitely want out. Some will also believe that they are "too good for League One". What we need is a group who are together, have balance of ability and want to be successful (you could argue all players want to be successful, but you know what I mean). There will be a significant financial hit as a result of relegation. One of those hits will be the value we can realise against those saleable assets who will want to leave. Another hit maybe paying off contracts of those who we don't actually want to retain. Both ways hits Mr Nagle in the wallet. I don't see any value in our situation in keeping players we don't want or wan't to be here. But as I say there is a cost associated with both of those.

A bit better at right back than in midfield but never going to be good enough. Better to get rid before he suffers his next injury and we cant offload his wages.

Kasumu does something decent but then struggles to control the ball (which has been an issue lately when we have had him seeming to be breaking with the ball or the ball lands for him to shoot). He was never a Championship footballer and it was insane that we played him so frequently.

You’re right, absolutely vital in a proposed promotion push is a midfielder who can’t pass 5 yards, doesn’t score or create and is poor in the air. Faith in dross like Kasumu is why we’re in the shit.
