It isn't a main TV game. It just able to view on IPlayer. Or channel 601 (aka BBC RB) on freeview.......We still get the tv money don't we? Not sure how it works if it isn't on the main channel. Presume there will be some form of TV income though.

No prize money unless the MCFC under 10s are not as good as we think. Or if they decide Haaland doesn't need new bootlaces this week & donate us the £105K.
£100K TV money if it is being treated as a live broadcast. If not...maybe nothing. 45% of the gate money. It's hard to predict what the attendance might be but maybe 45-50K?
Plus any other internal marketing stuff we manage to knock together. So maybe 3 shillings & sixpence on top.
My best guess is in the region of £0.5m which in our situation isn't to be sneezed at. Like I say though, just guessing at most of this.
A sobering thought as well, probably mentioned elsewhere, is that the first goal they conceded last season in the cup was half an hour into the final, by which time they'd managed to score 18 times themselves
50k attendance lol more like 20k.

Whether they turn up or not the home end should be a sell out or you don't qualify for a final ticket, question is how many do we sign up to, taking full allocation & not selling them could prove costly.......Between 3-8k? Couple of decent results/performances would shift a few.

I'll be impressed if it's still 0-0 after 9 minutes.

Haaland has a stress fracture of the foot. Round 4 here we come! (Seems unlikely they will have other options)

Looking at the Man City website, it looks like we are Level 3 tier only.

Looking at the Man City website, it looks like we are Level 3 tier only. I just had a look & they are relocating some ST holders, that might be for the additional 1500 they have to allocate for cup ties, with the normal 3000 away section as well which runs over all 3 levels from memory.

Leicester allocation for Town is 3250 & Cat A prices of £35 Adults/£33 Seniors which I think we will struggle to sell half or less, the City tie will appeal more to those who only can afford/want to go to one of the games.......Even more expense if it goes to a replay.

Is that right? Presume that’s in their T’s & C’s when they buy? Sounds a bit mad to me, but then again we might be talking about a fan base that’s considerably less working class than it used be when they were at Maine Rd?

United do it too. Any home cup game, money gets taken from you're account, only way to get your money back is by giving it back to the club and they sell it on. If they don't sell it on, you still get charged for it.

I'm not totally sure but ploughing through their website, I think it is optional. If you have a ST, you can opt to join 3 different cup schemes (LC, FAC & Europe). This guarantees your seat & they automatically charge you for it every time they get a home game. If you don't join, then your seat goes into the general sales pool & your chances of acquiring it for a major game are low.
Membership seems to be free & ticket prices are slightly lower than general sales. I might be missing the crooked bit of it, but if you've got the money then it seems like not a bad arrangement when you've got the likes of Real Madrid & Huddersfield Town racking up for cup ties.

For FA Cup games 8000 approx. should be the away allocation if required, unless anythings changed lately.

That's a misleading, inaccurate and unfair comment Pete & I think you know it. To suggest my postings are solely due to missing out on a Luton ticket is just sh8*te purely and simply (and as I say I think you're aware of that). Maybe you should show me some gratitude that I've given you a further opportunity to bang on Gratitude? For a slur in the form of a comment so misleading it's as bad as a lie?

There are three instances since WW2 of a team winning an FA Cup tie by 10 goals or more:
1959/60 Round 4: Spurs 13-2 Crewe 1960/61 Round 1: Bristol City 11-0 Chichester City 1971/72 Round 1: Bournemouth 11-0 Margate
The last of only 5 wins by 12+ goals came in 1893/94 when Preston beat Reading 18-0.
I certainly wouldn't be betting against City getting double figures considering our only tactic will be to try and defend our way to a 7-0 defeat with 12% possession.

I think we'll see city playing with a similar team to how they've lined up tonight.

There are three instances since WW2 of a team winning an FA Cup tie by 10 goals or more: 1959/60 Round 4: Spurs 13-2 Crewe Bizarrely I remember tales of this game as a kid. It was actually a replay, Crewe having held Spurs to a 2-2 draw at Gresty Road. The reason I know about it is that my Mum lived in Crewe at the time & was going out with a bloke who supported them...in fact, I think she might have even been at the initial game.
Luckily the relationship didn't last & I ended up with a Town fan, albeit a disinterested one, for a dad.

I wonder how soon they're going to let us know how many and how much 🤔
My eldests' fiance is a City fan, wants us to go and is happy to sit in the away end with me.

Sensible pricing that, £20 to watch the best team in Europe and yet the week before Leicester want £35 for a championship game
