The only way that the imbecilic decision to sack Warnock would have made sense is if it were done now, when someone with of the calibre and track record of Cooper had become available. Even then, I'd say it would have been highly unlikely that we could attract him. It would have been worth a shot though. We are now as attractive to him and he is to women. That bad ? Christ.. |

IF Darren leave any time soon everyone needs to forget Steve Cooper, he is currently way out of our range for the next manager. need to look at more realistic options and do you feel many / any are better than Darren Moore. I'd genuinely take MF over DM at this point. Least we could laugh at his press conferences. Hopefully DM getting shown the exit door might also mean you go too. Oh dear.... pretty sure all the players would disagree with you, and any sensible fan. |

I think the tricky twats have made a huge mistake here.. Let’s hope this is the beginning of the end.. Would love it if they got relegated.. Their owner got arrested for being a fat bastad.. Before I say this I know there are different views on here but not sure I understand the glee from some about coopers sacking....kinda revelling in his misfortune.
I completely share the dislike of forest after the play off final and some of the behaviours of some. I always had a reasonably positive view of forest....probably stemming from their exploits under clough. But I don't like alot about the club now from the ownership and some of the fans.
However I cannot understand how anyone could suggest Cooper has done anything other than a fantastic job with a club treading water at best. Clearly with some budget in the championship but not ridiculous. And in the Prem he knitted together a completely new squad...of players i suspect he didn't want....and achieved survival and would have this season too.
Forest might kick on and become a top half force a d it's up to them on the decision. But I have no vitriol towards Cooper....I don't remember him doing or saying anything that we should be upset about.
It's completely unrealistic....in my humble view...to suggest the job he's done means that a struggling championship team would have a cat in hells chance of being his next move. Lower prem....Palace probably...is next I suspect.

Seems a bit weird the timing of it. Surely getting beaten by a much improved Chelsea side isn't grounds for sacking so they've been thinking about it for a few games and therefore why not do it before the international break.
Seems harsh though as their squad isn't great for that level and he had them outside the bottom 3
