The annual memorial tribute to those Town fans who are no longer with us, having died in 2023. has now been published. It is very touching and a laudable effort from the Club. (Though the ’slide rotation’ would benefit from being about half the speed that it is). RIP to all.

A lot of fans younger than me on there. I've lost a few Town friends not on the memorial this year too, guess a lot of us have. RIP.

Significantly less than last season, 64 v 80 according to the programmes so let's hope the trend continues. Just noticed 2 appeared in last years and this years so actually 62 v 80, even better.

Always brings a lump to the throat. Even more so when it’s players or staff from your time watching Town.
RIP all.

The poor, first lad got me. How a family carries on after the death of a child is unimaginable to me. God bless them all.

Brings things into perspective. Life is indeed too short. Just be a decent human being, you never know when that person you fall out will be gone forever. ❤️

Liked the message family had sent in for one lass.
'Jimmy Nicholson is finally safe'.

I can’t believe the amount of people who have gone far too soon. It’s really sad. Really puts things into perspective and makes you realise life is too short to be getting pent up about football, even though we all do.
RIP to everyone on there.

This is an absolutely beautiful and magnificent thing that Huddersfield Town do And makes me so very proud to be a passionate supporter of HTAFC !
Thoughts very much with all those who have lost loved ones in 2023 💔 ⚽️ 💔 -
I’m just having a dram at the fireside before heading up to the local pubs in ma village and have just played a lovely song that I pick up on Irish Radio quite often called ‘Absent Friends’ by Mike Denver or Daniel O’Donnell...
This truly is a beautiful ballad and a lovely tribute to loved ones that have left our world for their next journey -
I would never have the technical knowledge of how to put it up here but it it is a truly lovely tribute indeed for our loved ones departed... 🥃 😢

Chris Beever - aka “east terrace” on here. Lived in Windsor. Thanks to Bob Knowles and Doug Walker for the memorial to him. Stood with Doug at the Millwall game.

One of the things that Town get absolutely spot on. Including the tributes to former players and staff.
Though I did have to laugh at half-time when they were playing the tribute while ABBA's "Gimme Gimme Gimme A Man" was playing.

Really sad looking at all those who won't be cheering town on no more. A lad I went through training with as an apprentice was included amongst them , who I didn't know had died . A well known long time town fan who I regularly saw at many away games in the 70s and 80s... R.I.P Ian Goward.

A lot of the ‘family’ gone far, far too early, many I know by sight, though not personally. Club have been criticised for lots of things these past few seasons but let’s give credit where credit is due, they have this absolutely spot on. RIP all, and sincere condolences to all families and friends. Well done Town, this is one of the reasons that makes you so special to many.

Sometimes it doesn't seem to make it as sad when a bit of humour sets in. At one of my old mates mother's funeral they played Maggie May by Rod Stewart . One of her favourite songs with her being called Margaret . When "Wake up Maggie" rang out , there were a few sniggers going round the crem..

I did the memorial on behalf of all his Town supporting mates. He went everywhere until the early 2000's then began to fall off the radar due to the onset of a very serious disability. If you want to know anymore, just send me a private message.

They could let each page last a couple of seconds more. I haven't read fully most screens before it has changed to the next person.
