Hope he gets a good send off. I’m sure he will from the good folks of Huddersfield and Golcar (I know a pure fantastic HTAFC fan that lives there)... This is where it was such a beautiful idea from Huddersfield Town to create the memorial wall and garden of remembrance - Perhaps with a bit of time and better weather Hammy’s loved ones can go there in a summers evening and reflect on his life in a lovely setting with the river trickling by and the birds in songbird on the trees (I spend hours listening to things like that and it’s very therapeutic indeed) and he might also get a plaque as well there. R.I.P Golcar Hammy... 🌅

Didn't know the lad, but it's always sad to hear such news of a fellow town fan. Condolences to family and friends.

RIP Hammy the name rings a bell. I'm pretty sure our paths have crossed somewhere in life before. Does anyone know how old he was?

RIP young man.
I’ve not lived in Yorkshire for 30 years. What always strikes me on these posts is the close knit ties across the towns and villages. It’s something I miss greatly.
I’m sure it is bringing some comfort to his friends and family that he was so well loved, even amongst strangers.

My sincere condolences, terrible news for all involved. Fkin Cancer has no barriers
Him and his mates were in a box at Arsenal away in the Sunday FA cup tie just behind us in club level in the days when we'd sold out 6000 in no time
