I'd guess that's the reason he is still at QPR as he's far too good for them.

If gets been sentenced to a years imprisonment then he's been found guilty and even if he has to go back for sentencing then he would be on remand, unless the Belgian justice system allows guilty criminals roam free whilst they appeal?

From a QPR forum. Good to know we're not the only ones obsessed with puns. " Apparently they’ve tabled an appeal. Not too sure he’s got a leg to stand on. I hope his lawyer couched his defence appropriately when he approached the bench. It all started when the driver got in an argument and tried to deck Chair. The club were hoping to sit on this until the end of the season. Hopefully we can still build a cushion between us and the bottom 3 by the end of the season without him."From a Westie London Fan this then ! 😉

Let's see if he rocks up to play against Rotherham tomorrow. That should decide it. Wonder if The Rotherham Fans will sing and give it laldy in this ‘Clash’ with - 🎵 I fought the law 🎵 !!! Or even better - Jailhouse ‘Rock’ !!! 😉

Does that mean he’ll be more of a hammock in the 25/26 season? He will certainly be on all fours quite a bit in his new surroundings.

Their sick pun fixation is so ingrained that they are deliberately mispronouncing the name of their best player

We've had a thread on this somewhere but I find it hard to understand why he is not on remand until his appeal is heard? The Belgian legal system must be different to ours.

The BBC , who've always had a soft spot for QPR, have hardly mentioned it all yet when our own Gypsy boy chased a hare they were all over it like a rash. No surprise really..

I don't think he has got a leg to stand on, the bench will have to get round the table for a conclusion, in the meantime he will have to sit it out and sofa.

How it should be, should be private until found guilty of something or else you always have accusations even if found innocent. And yet sentence has been passed? I'm certainly no lawyer but in layman's terms I'd say that confirms that he's been found guilty! Yes, I was replying to how its been lowkey/unheard of before his judgement and sentencing.

So part of his jail sentence is to be allowed to come back to the UK to play football!

Good thing he didn't place some bets on football matches, he'd have been suspended from playing then
