Never one of the glamour players of that team, was he ? Solid, reliable, an excellent player - but the Worthingtons and Chapmans were the glamour boys.

Saw him play and score at Halifax in the 3rd or 4th Division about 1974,we lost 2-1.Hope he celebrates a few more birthdays yet.
