He did with Watford.................. His goal scoring rate at Watford in goals per games is on a par with Jordan Rhodes at Town last year isn’t it? ie, pretty shit. He’s going to have to raise his level to have any kind of impact…would be interesting to know why he wanted to leave them so quickly after signing an extended deal. Didn't someone say he'd 2 goals and an assist in 205 mins on the field for Watford.

Hardly got a lot of game time tbh . Did score the winner on his last trip to Blackburn!

When you at the Town top scorers, only Burgzorg, Harratt and Hudlin with less than 300 minutes per goal. Ward at over 700 😲

He could have one leg and make more of an impact than Danny Ward. He’s well thought of by many Watford fans, that’ll do for me. He was shit and you were wrong.

Shit debut in fairness, did absolutely nothing. Koroma should have been kept on to partner Radulovic

No he wasn’t great but he also wasn’t shit. Had a half chance and then put Kasumu through to score (which he should of) He’s trained for half a day with the team and done 90 minutes today to a higher standard than some have all season.

Jesus wept he probably hasn't even learnt all his team mates names yet

Can't judge him on today... but you couldn't give him more than a 4 out of 10. Looked far too similar to how wiles has started.
Hopefully better to come.

My comment was in answer to mightyterrier calling me 'dumb' on another thread. Not so much of a reflection on Healey - more a comment on their knowledge.

Seriously - I’m not saying he had a good game but how can you expect a striker to flourish in a team that are absolutely shit at passing or retaining possession. We are shit at football. We could make a lot of strikers look shit. I don’t particularly rate Rhodes but his name springs to mind as well.

Given the short time he would have had to become familiar with the team, I wouldn't write him off yet.

I was more concerned by how anonymous Matos was. It looked like he had been told to calm down and instead spent his 65 mins shadowing their players rather than being all action, flying into tackles and getting about the pitch.

I was watching on Ifollow and saw him take a nasty knock in the first half - just after Healy had been elbowed in the face (another that the ref missed) - anyway the knock did him no favours and I wouldn't be surprised if our over enthusiastic medical team rule him out for QPR.

Agreed Belzian he did take quite a knock, but I had noticed him shadowing more prior to that. Yes the medical team certainly do seem to be very cautious, it's hard to know for sure though.

Honestly I want Matos to play like he did against Plymouth every single week. I want us to be astounded that he didn’t get a yellow for sheer tenacity every game.

Was never going to take Darren long to coach the ability out of them. Got a week of him doing the same thing with Bojan, Radinio and Healey ahead of qpr next.
