I doubt Warnock would be willing to come back to help us or the chairman would rehire him but I'm sure he could keep us in the Championship again. It would also show that our owner is willing to admit his mistakes and rectify them for the good of the club. Doubt it would ever happen though.

No thanks. Too much behind the scenes 'baggage'.
And I don't think there's a cat in hell's chance that he would even consider coming back again either.

Can't deny that, he literally produced a miracle. What happened after means he will never come back and I wish everyone else would accept the fact.

The manager we should have gone for is turning the ship at Birmingham.

I know he's unlikely to ever come back but if we did employ him tomorrow i doubt we'd finish below 13th or 14th. Edit: after looking at the table again I'll change it to 15th!

No thanks. Move on.
He is, in part, the reason why we’re here. His ego, his control of the transfers, his decision to take us to play pub-teams in preparation for a the pre-season. He was given too much respect and too much control in a temporary role. He, in part, damaged our stability by thinking he could turn water like Ruffels, Ward and Co into wine.
He did a wonderful job last season, a great achievement. But it’s time we look beyond him.

What the Warnock debate does suggest however, is that the squad and the club are badly in need of some charisma. And they’d benefit from it.

I know we all need to accept Warnock was sacked and we need to move on, it's just the 'gone forever and you're glad' seems very strong. Why are you so glad? I don't understand why some have such animosity towards a man who worked a miracle.

He won't come back, and we won't employ him again.
However I don't understand anyone who wouldn't want him back.

He might not have been easy for chairmen to deal with but he definitely made a big impact on the players and fans alike both times!

I know he's not coming back, he wouldn't agree to work for us in a million years. I agree we need to stop saying 'if Warnock was still here', we should be talking about who would accept to come in and save us from the drop.
