I didn't watch the game today but from what I heard after the goal most of our set pieces went short which doesn't make sense at all I have seen it many times this season and never results in anything. I haven't a fucking clue what Simon Ireland has done but he has completely changed the way we did set pieces which we have been one of the best teams in the league at the past couple of seasons when we've just put the ball straight into the box whilst having ample players to head home. Does anyone have any decent explanation for this?

Is he our set piece coach? Didn't know we had one. Every corner gets floated to the back post to no one. He is, he should be doing much better when we have one of the best set piece deliverers in the league and Michal Helik who has a 42% conversion rate there to get on the end of it |

Seems a strange game to post this after I get that when we've just scored from a corner today but I listened to Matt and Oggy post match and they were saying how despite scoring from a corner we still persisted with going short despite Blackburn's lack of height and this is something I've seen a lot this season and it never works. |

Set plays are a good tool to have it's the lack of goals from open play that needs addressing no where near good enough.
