4 goals in a 12 minute period, what a stat that is, shows a different mentality we have been lacking.

Only takes a win like that to get the belief back and to play again. I wasnโt at the game sadly, but sounded cagey and much the same for a lot of it but as soon as the first went in we actually thought we could win instead of settle back.

Koroma absolutely sat Ihiekwe down for the fourth. Vengeance for Bojan who I think is the best with the ball to his feet like we did against Man City and Blackburn. Hopefully he is Jon Stead 2.0 He doesn't look quick enough to me. Those Wednesday centre halves are hardly athletic thoroughbreds yet they beat him to every ball with ease. I'm pretty worried we've spent ยฃ2 million plus on two strikers who aren't really any different to what we already had

We struggled down our right side first half but sorted it second. Brodie Spencer was excellent, what a change in that lad. They all did really well . Especially happy for Diarra and Wiles, hope that is a turning point for them. Matty Pearson was immense and Radinio looked really assured, especially second half. Damn well done all of them.

Koroma as a striker delivering the goods again! Wiles MOM for me. Changed the game.
Glad Sorba scrapped them floating crosses!

Wednesday had the better chances to score in the first half other than that I agree. I don't remember them making anything. I remember Sorba shooting instead of squaring and Radulovic not passing to Wiles when the keeper was out of his net. Those 2 chances were far bigger than anything Wednesday created all game. Watch it back they had two close chances, one on target that Lees kneed over the bar and a headed clearance off the line that ended with a scramble shot that Nichols got down for

I thought that was Wiles' best game today including a brilliant pass for the 2nd, and the 3rd is brilliant all round. Superb ball from Hogg, what a touch from Sorba and great finish.

I can't believe the difference between the Spencer who left and the one who has come back. He's gone from someone who I thought had no chance of making it to a player we could make a small fortune from.

Wiles almost provided one of the best assists I've ever seen in the first half for Sorba's missed chance. Perfectly weighted defence splitting pass when there was no obvious space to pass into

Wiles stepped up today I thought. Looked impressive. That fourth goal though...reminded me of the TV show Beadles about. I'll see myself out.

Not read anything on here just yet but my Saturday evening entertainment will be having a look on Owlstalk.
Just one quick comment - Koroma (his first goal) and Thomas both took their goals superbly and calmly. Well done Matt Pearson, too.
Great result. Congratulations Jon Worthington.

Sheff Utd fans still going to be home before Wednesdays, despite not kicking off (for the first time) until 5:30

Brilliant result. Matty Pearson won us that with his desire for that header. After that they just capitulated. Well done Jonny Worthington. Really pleased Pearson scored, I'm a big fan, he always looks a threat and is a winner. So refreshing to see us just carry on trying to score more goals after going one up. I'm certain it would have been backs to the wall under Moore and likely finished one all. Another disjointed performance lacking in quality most of the time but amazing what a bit of attacking intent can do to the outcome of a match.

Sheff Utd 4-0 down in the first half. Not a good time to be a football fan in Sheffield. Fuck em, the cob eating Burberry wearing cockwombles

Good day at the office that
Didnโt look good till 60 mins, we were nervous and seemed to struggle with the new set up
One decent corner and Matty Pearson header later, and we finally felt the absence of DM. Every time we got the ball we thought about playing it forward - what a joy to see.
