You’d have to be out of your mind to consider leaving a team at the top of League 1 to come to us unless KN has promised you a fantastic transfer kitty in the summer. I could live with Pearson but only on a short term deal til the end of the season. Literally anybody is better than Darren Moore.

No they were out of work at the time.

And besides the point, I’m not saying I want him particularly. Just that I wouldn’t sell the opportunity short for an aspiring manager in the league below us, no matter how well they’re doing.

Personally I’d get an experienced head who can take the players he’s got, and be pragmatic enough to get results. A bit like the guy we paid off a few months ago.
